24:00 The Dullahan is a headless spirit of the horseman that carries their head either from a strap at their waste, or, in the case of the infamous Headless Horseman, in one hand while riding a massive ghostly stallion of unnatural size. This serves as the inspiration of Dullaher, from what I can tell. EDIT: Little clarity, the Dullahan was thought to be a harbinger of death, carrying their severed head in one hand, and a whip fashioned from human spines in the other.

The Dullahan were often portrayed as more of a Greek Thanatos / English Grim Reaper like figure where they weren't death itself, but the people who brought the dead to the afterlife. This is even made even more blatant in some legends where they give the Dullahan the abilites including, but not limited to: always knowing where you are, knowing when you should go to the afterlife, when they appear doors windows etc. fly wide open and the wind kicks up AND when the call your name you either accept death and join them on their caravan OR you just keel over on the spot.

This is my absolutely favorite region now! I’m a U.S. citizen, but I’m just about 50% Itish (DNA test said 45%) and I have traced back my ancestry to the West/South Coast of Ireland, up until the potato famine(*cough cough* Irish genocide *cough cough*), in which my family escaped to America in 1899! There were a lot of good options for a team for this region, but sadly you can only have 6 for an entire team. Also, it's nice to meet a fellow Inteleon enjoyer! Bipedal/humanoid Pokemon get WAY too much hate in the community I swear! So my starter would have been Shamrozen. I'm pretty sure the line is based on druids and shaman that can shapeshift parts of their body as well as enhance themselves to be able to throw down in combat. Which, on the topic of design inspiration, I'm pretty sure Wolfeyrir is dark colored despite being a Fairy typing, is because it's probably based on not only rangers/scouts but also Unseelie Faeries (which are more of the Neutral to Evil type of Faeries). For the rest of the team I've chosen Chubbatus because it's so chonky in and out of Mega Evolution

For the next region, how about as for can dlc or an extension of PK sword and shield, to Honor its English roots, if there could be a region and Pokemon based in Alice in Wonderland? Not only there be Pokemon based in both the movies and book of Alice in wonderland, but Pokemon could talk like humans. And there would be an item that could make any Pokemon use the ability Vorple Blade, but one of the legendary Pokemon would be based on the Jabberwocky!
