Thanks for your kind acceptance to discuss your powerful experiences in advancing astrophysics observations with Dr. Ross, Dr. Keating. I've seen you appear on some other KZbin videos, as well, discussing deep philosophical and scientific verification/qualification of advanced theories. I'm no scientist, but I volunteered with Reasons To Believe for about 20 years, and am glad to see Dr. Ross so pleased to interact publicly with experts in his field. You are a great inspiration for everyone involved.

I believe this intelligent astronomer has maintained and now accelerated his academic velocity throughout his still young career. Outstanding. May you receive the results and answers promptly and with vigor. God be praised.

This was a great discussion between two scholars who have an exceptional gift to communicate the intricacies of science to non-specialists. I hope Dr. Ross will have Dr. Keating back again as a guest for more of this fascinating content.

I'm a Humanities major at heart trying to get a handle on Physics 101 & QM 101. Hence I can only understand either field by osmosis. Difficult but I "soldier" on in these two fields.😎

I really appreciated this episode, it has to be one of my favorite -- it is rare to see anyone challenge statements of fact in videos on this channel, and I really appreciated Brian's willingness to challenge Hugh's statements in order to bring greater clarity to the discussion, it was all very "enlightening!" I look forward to the next time Brian is on the show!

Wow ! Once again completely blown away by depth of knowledge Dr. Ross brings to the discussion . And thank you for having Dr. Keating on , the same applies to him as well ! I’m barely able to follow along and frequently have to rewind and hear parts again but I’m slowly being converted into an astrophysicist ! Hobby level at best . This is amazing work I didn’t know existed , so again , thank you both for taking the time to explain your thoughts and positions . Take care and may God bless you both and your work . Amen !

Dr. Ross, you have that deep, happy glint in your eyes and grin on your face after talking with Dr Keating! It looks like the joy of a 4 to 6 year child on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. (I can't speak for Boxing Day.) This chat is encouraging for RTB supporters as well, as we hear hints of recognition of you and your super, solid knowledge and experience and skills in the science of astrophysics and observations. I am finding more opportunities online to suggest scientists, and those interested in the field, such as viewers of Dr. Sabine Hossenfelder's KZbin channel, to consider the issues of E.T. intelligent, and those factors started with the rough Drake Equation model, and learning the new 300 measurements of evidence of necessary Fine Tuning of the cosmos for ANY life. I suggest that they consider applying the SETI type search and critical thinking back to time on Earth, between about 2,000 B.C. and A.D. 300.

What's B mode? I know of three kinds of polarization: orthogonal, diagonal, and circular; each coming in two opposite senses.

We finally live in an era that an observer with no knowledge of our culture would think we were sharing childhood fantasies. "We decided to build a telescope in the south pole. And then we upgraded it. Because it was cheaper than putting it in space". 😅😅😅

I hope not. He demonstrates an openness to an intelligent discussion, knowing that many other scientists share that same sentiment. As Christians, we know that the "heavens declare the glory of God," and the more we learn about the heavens, the more we learn about the infinitely wise and powerful Creator. Our desire is for more scientists to know that Creator also, and in a personal way.

I still prefer the Rh=ct universe, Big Bang model. It has the universe at about 13.97 +/- 0.08 to 14.01 +/- 0.08 billion years old, and doesn’t use inflation. It also beats the standard inflation model in almost every head-to-head test.

lol, this is the universe of Genesis 1:1 based upon the imagination of Dr. Hugh Ross. lol, how in the world that Dr. Hugh Ross applies the present world to the PERFECT UNIVERSE in Genesis 1:1? Have he experienced living inside the perfect universe where you don't grow old and die? Where decay doesn't exists? He can do this only by doing gymnastics in his brains. EVOLUTIONISTS DO THIS IN A REGULAR BASIS. So, now you have readings of GENESIS 1:1 ACCORDING TO DR. HUGH ROSS. If he believes that his readings are the correct one, WHY WON'T HE MAKE a BIBLE base ON MILLIONS OF YEARS? That way, HIS CONVERTS will have PERFECT CORRECT READINGS. Stop using day. Instead, apply your readings based on your imagination. That's what your religion truly believes in.

Could Dr. Ross comment on that structure on the moon called Iapetus? What does he think it is? Richard Hoagland has some fascinating info about it. Is it simply natural, or was it built by the rebel angels?
