I can't express how grateful I am to these young folks for stepping up to protect the United States of America.

I remember the cold frigid morning getting us all in formation behind the field, we were so happy to be done with OSUT. I remember my feet hurting so bad from the 12 mile ruck march a few days earlier. i absolutely want to re-enlist after being a veteran for a few years. I miss the life of a soldier.

Was it taken out when I was in the army in the 70s the phrase was protect against all enemies foreign or domestic

What's with the mixed uniforms?
@davidcraft46368 ай бұрын
Army Blue Service Uniform is still optional for wear. It will go back to being the dress blue uniform in 2027, Everyone else has been issued the Pinks and Greens(AGSU).

@moosepasshippie Жыл бұрын
If the army would pay for it, they would get the AGSU. A new AGSU cost around $700-$1K. That is a lot of money for an E-4 that is getting out in a year or two.

Sloppy. Soldiers aren’t properly aligned, conducted at close intervals dress right dress and still didnt adjust to get properly aligned. Drill Sergeants marched still & robotic. One was out of step
@nlee5034 Жыл бұрын
WTF?! How are they THAT much out of step, when marching?! Must be all those “red cards”, and snacks they hand out now. I get that they learn a lot more now, and they have 9 more weeks to train, than did we in the ‘90s. But, marching in step, is the simplest task they teach at BCT. Are the new recruits really that unteachable?
@garouuchiha4041 Жыл бұрын
That's the ARMY!, that's how it is in the ARMY....no sync of steps in marching, it's been going on for years. No lie.
