Nothing like a good dose of DIY to feel inspired. Unfortunately, I don't have the tools, materials, knowledge, or skills to do any of this, let alone the time, but it's always wonderful to see what can be accomplished with the right resources. I have a Protractor Desk from Barcelona Designs and have always been curious where their designers would get their inspiration from to create it. Nice tutorial!

На фоне других ,использующих всякие bessey irwin jorgensen,старые струбцины со старой краской выглядят аутентично. Я думаю раньше качество изделий из стали и чугуна было куда лучше сегодняшних прилизанных маркетингом .

Looks like your father or grand father put you on the track. I am a festool fan but never forget to be open mind and interested on all the different techniques and tools. Mixing Tradition and innovation is the key for woodworking. And don't Jigs, super glue and masking tape are our best friends ,it's what I teach to my daughter.😉 I am not joking. Be always accurate, organised and be proud of your achievements but always humble. I wish you the best for 2022. Regards Anthony

Can i ask how did you film this? Since its a long process. Do you call the filmer into the workshop multiple times or do you do it in one session repeating movements?
@infeelfurniture
@infeelfurniture 2 жыл бұрын
Oooh I see you understand the complexity. It took us 3 days (6 hours a day) to film it. To reduce the operator's time, I did most of the work myself and left one or two parts for shooting, so I managed to shoot several processes at once. I also filmed some moments on my own. In general, this greatly complicates the work. Now I film by myself from the tripod.

@thelittlecousin5211
@thelittlecousin5211 2 жыл бұрын
I believe logically it is because of the need to lift heavy weight around and risking messing it up on the table saw since one side can be hanging, also you have to catch it on the other end if it is long. So it is for safety, easiness and less risk to damage the beautiful table top. (Don't take my word for it, I'm just a web-developer so no skills in wood-working at all. I just watch these type of videos because it calms me down and I love the discipline and patient those artisans/artists have, it is truely incredible and I believe you've joined them on a wonderful adventure of beautiful creations)
@infeelfurniture

I use a track saw to make a smooth cut and only then do I have a flat side to base it on a circular saw. Also the answer @The Little Cousin is tru. On such a table, I will spend about a week working with oil coating. Sorry that I answer a little late)
