Here’s a basic Explanation over: How Sam keeps up with an enhanced Raiden while juicing. Spoilers Ahead | Minuano/Jetstream-Sam/Samuel Rodriguez is a Brazilian male who before the events of the game was a sort of vigilante figure. He inherited the Murasama from his father as he passed away, his father being the owner of a Kenjutsu Dojo, this being the reason he’s flipping Raiden around so easily and why he fights without his sword. Before Cyborg Enhancements were common place, Sam didn’t rely on anything but his sheer skill, taking out four people alone with just his Fathers blade. ( All armed gunmen. ) eventually though, after the fall of SOP, cyborgs replaced Metal Gears quickly, a new age for the weapon economy beginning as the peak of said weapons: The Metal Gears were quickly dethroned. Since Sam couldn’t exactly beat a cyborg with just his sword… He now would don the same Exosuit you see him in during Base-Game and his own DLC. This suit would significantly boost his Speed and Power, but it was still considered to be worse than cyborg enhancements. Sam simply wanted to keep his humanity which is why he did this instead. During this time, Sam would also modify his Fathers sword to become a high frequency blade, this blade being quite the powerful one. The quality of the original weapon contributed to its strength, this being the reason it was able to defeat Armstrong while Raidens high frequency blade wasn’t capable of doing so. As you may have noticed, he had a custom made sheath… A literal gun sheath. This is often times used in Sam’s fighting style as he will sheath his blade, pull the trigger on the sheath and fire his sword out, using the gained speed he will catch his blade and unleash a devastating attack. Sam is the only character to have this fighting style. As you can most likely tell, this didn’t stop Sam as through his sheer skill, power, and will, Sam would begin targeting those who hid behind Cyborg’s in their cushy office chairs. Finding them to be cowards, he’d target them and succeed multiple times, each time though that same coward would be replaced by another. Although, Sam’s actions caught the attention of desperado, this beginning the Jetstream Sam DLC as he’d focus on what was presumed to be another coward, instead being Armstrong. Through Sam’s DLC the abilities listed prior are seen. He also has a knack for taunting people to lower their guard though, this being the reason why he’s constantly trash talking in his two fights with Raiden. When all is said and done, Armstrong after his arm is chopped off, coats it with his nanomachines and takes Sam own arm. This being why he had to have it be replaced by a cybernetic arm. This messing up his muscle memory to the point it actually weakened him. ( This is the same arm he keeps slamming Raiden with. Who could’ve guessed. ) List of abilities: High intellect Expert tactician Leadership Charisma High pain tolerance Extreme Swordsmanship Martial Arts training Great reflexes Motorcycle riding Partial cyborgization Healing (With Repair nanopaste) Smoke manipulation (With smoke grenades) Air manipulation (Through vacuum slashes) Information analysis Electromagnetism manipulation (With electromagnetic grenades) Explosion manipulation (With grenades) Electrolyte absorption Vibration manipulation, Quantum manipulation and Durability negation (With his HF Blade) Nanomachines Self-sustenance Can set his sword on fire Resistance to heat Ability-enhancing exo-suit: Enhanced strength Enhanced durability Enhanced speed Enhanced agility. So yes, this does indeed mean if he had been fully cybernetic-ally enhanced, he would’ve absolutely cooked Raiden. To the point it would’ve been embarrassing most likely.

It’s pretty cool how this is the only boss in the game that does not try to “cheat” in any kind of way. Metal Gear Ray was a giant robot with all it’s weapons, bladewolf kept calling in reinforcements, Mistral had an army of mini robots to annoy you, Monsoon kept running away and throwing vehicles at you and Sundowner had his explosive shield. But with Sam, it is just 2 futuristic samurai in the middle of nowhere having an honest duel. No tricks, no bs, just raw skill. That’s such a cool design choice considering all the previous bosses.

Yo Infer, if you ever return to this game I definitely recommend unlocking and playing some missions on Revengeance difficulty. It's like a glass cannon mode where every enemy does insane damage and does not hold back, but if you play your cards and damage right you can easily decimate a boss. Hard but very fun 🔥

1:00:03 honestly depends which sonic your talking about. For example Archie sonic can go 800 cotillion times the speed of light. If we’re talking about just sonic from the adventure games he goes around sub sonic relativistic speeds to ftl. In miles per second it would be around 3.1717 mi/s or miles per second. At max he goes around 500 miles per second and in super sonic he can travel to space and back within a few seconds. If we’re accounting games after adventures 2 he would have consistent ftl speeds including outrunning and beating death with staging that he can travel faster than certain concepts and time and potentially near boundless strength (which is outrageously bs considering he damn near got packed up by a fucking robot)

I didnt even know you could block in this game, i spent so much time studying the bosses attacks and when to parry them 😭 It was fun though great game

Haven't watched the full stream on twitch, but fox blade is essentially a cheat item. Pretty sure it wasn't in the game before the dlcs, and what it essentially does is just remove all armor resistances so that you can cut through stuff like butter (similar to ripper mode) and it's boss damage is quite low. Also if you ever replay, offensive defense gives s, and sky high is the highest dps move in the game by far (just spam it if you're going for completion, but personally I think doing cool combos is more fun). Also the boss weapons you unlock are fun as well.
