Hey Tom, that's an amazing video I have never seen Sewer Fly Bugs before. I really love the way you care about your customers :) :) :) That adds up to fantastic customer service. Total respect to you and Kyle from here in the UK. Take care, stay safe. Looking forward to your next video

So? Did you film the repair job?
@985bully4 жыл бұрын
Had something similar with the sewer flies. Turns out it was a vent pipe not connected during a homeowner remodel that was letting them in the room. We found it made the connection and they went away.
@throttlebottle59064 жыл бұрын
they can migrate through traps backwards, but mainly only large flood drains, which often are nearly dried out/open.
@shupe19074 жыл бұрын
So is the customer going to have that drain pipe fixed? And who left their cellphone in the pile of sewer flies? lol
@aprilsherrill59972 жыл бұрын
So we are having an infestation close to this. We have had many plumbers over, all come up with different answers and problems. We fix all of them to no avail. My question is, did you not have to repair the pipe to keep them from coming back? Thanks!

Typically we see them when we take the clean out cap off and it’s like 10-15.. but that room was insane. The customer was going to bug bomb the place👍

Wouldn't mind seeing that pipe once it's dug up. Wonder what caused it to break...?
@englishruraldoggynerd4 жыл бұрын
Well it looks like the garage was an addition maybe, onto a slope, which has settled. They need to brace for further hill deformation. It won’t be huge, but it’ll happen as there and no trees or shrubs stabilising the lawn.

I think it was monthly draino poured down the pipes that ate the pipe through.
@markstanton29264 жыл бұрын
Good work but my question is why are there only really flies in one room and how exactly to the flies escape the sewer into the room. Surely the pipe is sealed. Or is the vent over the access point open somehow? Stay safe
@kempingerrohrreinigungberlin4 жыл бұрын
Interesting 😎 But 1would have thought that the leak,where the flys come out, still would to be found in the same room. Anyway it will probably be less if the pipe break has been repaired. Will you be able to shut down the drain pipe in this room were you worked from? Till then ,stay safe👍

Question: We are having this same issue right now after a main break in the basement! The break was fixed first 4 weeks ago but the flies seemed to have mass populated since in the basement. What did you do with the "goo" around the outside of the broken pipe?
@roninseattle4 жыл бұрын
so they got into the line through that break but how did they get into the building? wouldn't there need to be another hole within the building? We got drain flies in our building once but through a broken lead bend.

My brothers home was infested with theses flys…we used everything on the market…I moved out he still has them
@AwesomeFuture7773 жыл бұрын
I am fighting them right now. They are hanging out around and in my basement floor drain that has the heavy iron cover over it. Im using 1 cup of salt, 1 cup of baking soda, and 1 cup of vinegar and flushing the next day with very hot water daily to get rid of them. Im hoping this works. I am in Wisconsin, and I have never seen them before this last winter.
