Thank you for giving us an inside look at your practices. This stuff is great- I am always using your drills at our practices. Keep on doing what you’re doing.

I realize that when I played ss in high school baseball in Vermont (many years ago) I was not doing much right :) Thanks for the information and repping New England baseball. After New Year - it's time to think baseball.

Enjoy the content. Brings back so many memories of hitting and fielding. I now focus on Pitching and developing throwing programs, but always try to catch 1 of your videos. Appreciate the vulnerability you share. Good stuff and simple explanations. Would love to see a video of hip explosiveness when turning double plays. :)

Matt, what is the point of the cross over that you say Lindor and them do vs just the straight shuffle?

Nice drill. I admit that at my age, a fundamental like keg and footwork isn't present when I'm mentoring.

Difference between playing on artificial turf verses grass?

Turf gets hotter and u can play in it when it’s wet. That’s all I know

Love your channel. Quick question. I reed that your father was a good athlete and I saw a video of your sons 4th birthday lefty power. Growing up how much pressure did you feel to succeed athletically?

Thanks! I don’t remember feeling any pressure. Sports was just my thing. I wasn’t good at a lot of other things, but sports gave me a lot of self confidence. I enjoyed being good at them, so I worked really hard to be the best I could be. Never any pressure though.

Looks like a little outfield crow hop into a shuffle.

is it normal for teams in the US to train on turf indoors? wherever i’ve played we train on fields, so we can get used to the way the grounds feels as most fields are not very good and are hard to play on

here in michigan, yes. There's two feet of snow outside all the time, so we have to stay inside. however, this year we aren't allowed inside together, so we are practicing on a plowed parking lot. for conditioning, we sprint with somebody behind us in a sled. ton of fun
