Armistice zone is for only personal weapons. Earlier ship weapons were disabled too but now they have removed it.

6:40 also, never do what Levelcap did here. Do not kill engines in zero-g, this means ANY minor bump to the ship will cause it to drift off into eternity. You wanna kill engines on planets, to prevent them from hovering in the air if bumped, but not in zero-g. You want your automatic engines to stop all motion while in zerog.

The boarding missions are my favorite missions! I always look forward to them when they pop up. Some space combat and fps mixed in! Some times finding all of the enemies is a pain. I've found the last enemies outside the ship if I leave the dock door open, and some times I've found them in the bathrooms. Just a tip but the Data pad with the glowing orange wire was in the very first room you went into (@8:56) on the right. You have to hit abort on that data pad to stop the transmission and you get an extra 5k bonus for the mission. They can be in different spots every mission is different. Sometimes in the pilot area, sometimes in the bar area below the pilots seat, sometimes in the hanger below are some places I've found them.

Tactical head on first, tourism later. The guy that killed Lvlcap didn't just spawn in, he's the one you first saw that left the room to the right at the bottom of the staircase, then came back in while you were having a look around at the room. If you know where the threat went, keep an eye in that direction.

if you sit in the pilot seat of the 890 jump you can turn on the power and that turns on the lights in the ship

890 was the first thing I ever did in SC with my buddy. That first time experience EVA'ing through to the hatch was gnarly! I cleared the ship by myself after he died from a puncture and flew his ship back to NB...well I flew it mostly, I accidentally hit the eject button while checking the instruments...

You should be accepting the "Call to Arms" mission from the mercenary tabs to get extra Credits for every wanted pirate you kill, it helps alot for income.

All due love to levelcap but he's certainly not a daily SC player :P You've been able to shoot ship weapons in Armistice zones for a few months now, intentionally, not a bug. The deal is that you get crimestat if you shoot AT anyone. But otherwise its fine. Because if you could NOT shoot while in armistice, pirates could just fly into armistice zone and you wouldnt be able to kill them. 50% of all "bugs" in Star Citizen are actually not bugs, or human error. The game IS buggy, but its only 50% as buggy as you think as a new player lol.

I remember when these missions would glitch out and you could fly the 890 after securing it. Me and my old org friends took one to Port Oli and everyone there got their expensive ships out and we had a party with everyone on the server, it was so much fun

In the 890j Mission you can actually sit in one of the co-pilot seats and power on the ship in order to at least have the lights on. You can get a better view on the ship this way as well as having an easier time shooting the pirates.

someone may have already suggested this but once in the 890 on the mission, go to the med bay and set your spawn point for the 890jump in case you die. Also, an easy way to loot is loot the NPCs and move their items to the 890 jump inventory then go to its hangar and move it from inventory to boxes then transfer to your ship with a pyro tractor beam tool. Oh, and raise the hangar on the 890 to make it easier. Which reminds me when you go the bridge at the top of the stairs turn on the power for the 890 to see better.

This is my favourite mission as of yet. My Aegis Avenger can kill the Cutty Black pirate guards quite easily, and slaughtering the pirates can be done pretty quick once you know the layout.

It's been a while since they allowed Armistice in space for ships to shoot at each other, you just can't use hand weapons. Ground outposts and cities do prevent ship fire. They wanted to see how well Station defense turrets worked against hostiles. When using turrets with the mouse, you should both enable Relative mode and Gyro mode. The first one makes it so you move the turret directly with the mouse instead of moving the circle and having the turret follow it. The second one makes it so you keep facing the same way even if the pilot turns around. Also, to your pilot, don't kill the engines when EVAing. They're actually working to keep the ship stationary, so any bump will send it flying away forever if there's no thruster active to stop it. It's not using any fuel unless something actually tries to move it. If you reload your gun when the clip is half full, you will end up with a lot of half full clips, and eventually you'll load half a clip into your gun when you reload. Same when you reload when you have 5 rounds left.

Always Press I when getting out of a ship instead of fully powering it off, in atmo you'll stop your ship from floating around and it'll also keep your shields up in case it gets attacked, it doesn't waste fuel or resources so there's no point to turn everything off

Should get a couple of cheap joysticks, it completely changes the experience. Interesting note, you can make old console joysticks to work. I found an ambidextrous PS3 joystick on eBay that believe it or not works great for this game, called the saitek Pacific AV8R was only like 30 bucks, and you can use 2 of them.

I ALWAYS land in the hangar, you can run straight to the medbay and set your respawn then on the ship so you don't have to run back if you get shot.

In case the other guy doesn't mention it in the vid, hit Q when you get in the turret so that your mouse moves the turret 1:1 instead of chasing a little pip to make the turret move

im pretty sure to be able to buy the 890 jump in game it would be something in the nature of 115 quant mining runs to make 32 mil. because from what i know the prospector with a full load of quant refined sells for like 280k so that times 115 would be around 32 mil. of course thats all rough math because maybe not every run will be picture perfect 280k worth so it might be more in the area of like 125-130 runs. thats crazy lol

On the Armistice Zones, I believe only the major cities actually block weapons. Orbiting station armistice zones allow you to fire weapons, but block handheld weapons. That would most likely explain the "firing in an armistice zone" listing in the jurisdiction laws, as adding that entry would be weird if all weapons were blocked ...also, it's physically painful to see you shoot enemies without getting cash. call to arms every time you log in, please

For new players, this mission is great. Just take it, then wait and let the security forces kill the ships outside. Then pull up and clean up the remaining pirates. Easy 45k Get call to arms first if you can.

Olli, it's not a pledge thing. They reworked space station armastice zones at 3.11 that name gives you ability to fire your ship guns. however you will get a crimestat if you attack to a player no matter what

You can shoot the guns on any ship in all armistice zones except cities. But all armistice zones will stop you from using med tool, guns, and multi tool in FPS.

Love the videos. I bought this game back when all you could do is look at your ship. Always been put off by the fact i dont know anyone else who plays. And it does seem like you need to be part of a group. Or at least have a partner or 2. Is there any ingame functions where you can join a party ?

You can shoot in those zones and will soon be able to shoot in many other zones. But if you actually hit anything, get ready to have a crime stat and get attacked by security forces and turrets.

Technically, the 890 Jump is not the most expensive ship in game. Hell, the Kraken is $1500, but in fact, the 600i Concierge edition (Black and Gold paint) is the most expensive ship as you are awarded this ship once you have pledged $24,000.00 into the games development.
