It will obviously feel repetitive to someone who farms the overwold for like 3hrs every day. This is simply meant to do as a one time mission each day to get your rewards and thats literally it.

This events is just for 1 run only, fox you run it multiple times thats why you get bored or sick of it, imo your nitpick so much this few new video. You should try to find other games, because my god even in stream you are irritable. Like if you just run 1 time this event is actually enjoyable but yeah its up to you.

@@Gheniel_ yeah this event is just for 1 run fun, fox which play this multiple times will actually nitpick the fault of it. Like normal player just gonna say this fun take reward and then wait for next event or next story when out.

I agree sadly it's always gonna be like this in Livestream and vids like that Playing stuff over and over, nitpick at every little thing even the encore story bro nitpick at everything even tho it is a good story even better than sk story but nope I'm so bored out of mind I gotta nitpick everything

The game mode has a high score feature so the idea of it being just for 1 run is not really accurate. Unless you get the max score possible in one run, the why not go back and try to beat your previous score.

9:25 This is all you actually had to upload from this video. You didn't have to complain and whine for 9 minutes, making your actual points sound less reasonable and putting the focus less on what you really had to say. You should've just uploaded this. Clear, concise, explained and alot less entitled sounding than the rest of the video. You even pretty much repeated all your previous points and even explained the whole "infinite battle" concept again despite having done so multiple times already. It's a shame. I think your points are valid but unfortunately overshadowed by the first 9 minutes of this video. Have a good one brother.

my only issue with this event was the lack of explanation about how the points work and the pathing...but I"m sure they'll refine it or retune it....battling was still fun imo

Easiest way to get max score: don't care too much about timer. Just loot as many boxes as you can on the way to the final node. The effects (like lightning and shit) will just murder everything FOR YOU regardless how built your units are. Totally busted.

no problem with pathing honestly. its great actually cuz encourage players looking around hidden buff chests instead mindlessly follow the path.

Rather than seeing it as an event, see it as an exploration qte. It makes much more sense then

I see free asterites and materials. They made it easy to reach the threshold for even beginners. This is the first run then theyll make some adjustments and itll come back later on for another trial and error

Bruh i actually freakin enjoyed it 👀👀 even JP side posting about how wuwa nailed the even and even better than previous infinite battle event. I've only seen praises of this new game version event up until i saw your vid like wtf is going with you right now 😂😂

They need better english localization. The use of the term "infinite" connotes sometihing endless. I thought it's something similar to Warframe's survival mode. That's not the game's problem though. We really shouldn't expect an event to be something that we specifically thought of just because of the name. I have to say, it has great ideas like using the over-world and the rogue-like feel of the buffs. It's just that it's always so easy. Like I always say in their feedback. "More pgr, less genshin." In PGR, some events have difficulty sliders or options to buff the enemies in exchange of some few more rewards but not to the point of causing fomo. I hope they do that for their future events. Also, I think expecting them to create unique mobs just for events is a bit much. Maybe, just buff enemies or give them unique effects like the echoes during that holo boss coop event. To be fair, they did that monster hunter event in PGR complete with new bosses just made for that event.

It's just that it's always so easy. this is one of weirdest issue with WuWa. for whatever reason KURO keep making these event too easy that they just become meat punchbags, ended up nothing to discuss about. its waste potential for some players interactions talking about stuffs. KURO should just make some hard events, see the completion rate players, then tweak the prize at next run so casual can get most prize and those who want hard contents can playing around

Pass these suggestions to Kuro and based on what we've seen so far, they seem to take player feedback seriously. On that note, you've made some pretty valid points. I am sure Kuro and the playerbase as a whole will benefit a lot.

To me the new event is fun and I'm very glad I see they are creating combat events in the overworld. It just feels different and nice to have fights in the overworld and in more interesting terrain. And I'm very glad that we can revisit interesting locations, that they are being reused. Whole concept of getting buffs, a little of exploration and final battle is simple yet very good. It's much unpolished, yes. More interesting is it's great potential than what we see now, yes. But to me there isn't anything bad here, it's just - ok and - could be better. It only would be bad if it stays like that instead of improving. As for the previous co-op event - here - complete disagree. Bosses and special echoes were very well balanced in a way that it was even puzzle-like, how to use new abilities in efficient way. It was very fun and cool. This event as well as special enemies in the Black Shores gave me refreshing experience of WuWa combat and helped me learn to use game mechanics better. UPDATE: ok, I played the event more and I see how it's seriously flawed. Doing something with grapple is cool, but just plunging to win, that's all, seriously? And over and over again? It doesn't change how I think they cook something interesting here, it has a good potential, but it's really just like experiment and as an event it's not good, pretty disappointing.

The idea with endless enemy waves is great. I hope we get an event with this mechanic in the future or maybe even an permanent mode with a refresh every two weaks like tower of adversity. But the permanent option only with agressive enemys, that do not wait in the backline or try to flee.

I would love it if they reworked something like this to be more of a Risk of Rain 2. Parts of the open world reworked with fun movement around the map, ever-increasing difficulty, collect upgrades, find and fight that areas boss and then go to the next map

What kuro need to remember is interaction and positioning are what make combat fun so those 2 aspects need to be expanded and prolonged. Players should play the game the way it’s supposed to be and be rewarded for doing something right, like successful dodge counter and parry.

That's a really good take. We also have to remember that because events like this are designed for us to get rewards like astrites, they're trying to make sure everyone can get them. What I mean is if they make the events too difficult new, or lower leveled players can't get all of the rewards, and stuff. I myself don't mind missing out on some of the rewards because I'm not at max level, and am used to not being able to complete things like the electric sheep event, and the last few levels of DoIR. I understand that those are the parts of the event more designed to push peoples' teams, and skills, but not everyone will feel the same.

@@ywzgbf6873 That's true, but the last few events allowed us to use level 80 units, and the enemies were much higher level. I think it was because it was an event more made for co-op. The only things I missed out on were some shell credits, and minor stuff so for me, it wasn't a big deal. I wasn't, and am still not complaining at all. I think it's awesome Kuro does that for us!

The thing that I didn't like at all was that it was just two stages repeated 3 times, but with higher level mobs, which is irrelevant because they die in very few hits anyway. I would've liked it a lot more if this event took place in the overworld, and in 6 different spots.

They should make an endless bossrush mode where the bosses get progressively stronger (you get punished harder for missing dodge) and the fights are longer (more HP for bosses, forcing you to interact with almost all of their moves) and they cycle you through all of the hologram VI versions of each boss, getting tankier and stronger every time. That would be sick.

I liked this event. First fighting one that I will get all rewards. The idea of getting chests was good but it was difficult to find all of them.

I thought the concept itself was good. But I agree with you, it hasn't been properly cooked yet. But there's a lot of potential there. Criticism is certainly appropriate here. But I also want Kuro to continue to dare to try things like this without the whole player base attacking them. And I had a lot of fun with the last co-op event. The bosses were actually very different, because they were aimed at 3 players, it really felt like real teamwork. But there's definitely still a lot to be gained from that. But I generally hate fighting against the clock. That usually takes the fun out of things like that for me. Well, that's probably my personal problem.

While the timer in this felt pointless as I don't think it ever took me more than 6 mins to clear, the timer was really not needed. Gacha games are way too plagued with timers that serve little to no purpose. So I'd disagree its a you problem and would say its a Gacha problem. There have also been a few others in this comment section and other videos where people have said as much, that the timer just takes away from an event like this.

I mentioned it during the stream, but really hate they had 'infinite' in the title. It just felt like bait, as if they knew what people would want and decided not to deliver it. If it didn't have infinite in the title I would've just thought "whatever, it's just another basic event", but the name of the event had been released way before.

The only part of this I disagree with is it being thoughtless. I think Kuro put a ton of effort into this event, but it's execution fell short. I'm not a fan of it either, but mainly because the chests were spaced a bit too far apart, and in my opinion, there was no need for a timer until the very last node. I haven't even played the second part of it because I'm just not all that interested in it. I still will, but yeah... That being said, I do have a huge issue with timed events dating back to Resident Evil's timed endings. I've never liked those because it puts unnecessary stress on me. I felt like, not only do I have to fight the hardest boss of the game, but also do it in time to escape this massive explosion that will mean failure if not done before said explosion. They always seemed like one last eff you to the player, lol. Personally I don't see your statements as nitpicking, as others have stated. I think it completely okay to raise concerns, and discuss it. I thought forums like this are what they're for. Kuro's not gonna land every single punch. Sometimes they're gonna swing, and miss, and that's perfectly okay. No devs are gonna hit everything they swing at. That's just how it is. Thank you for your video, and not being afraid to discuss things like this.

This even is kinda a miss. But imo overall it is a good move from them. I like it when they dare to try different stuffs. Of course not all of those are good though but I always prefer something new rather than repeated mediocre like some certain open world gacha game.

I enjoyed this combat event. This game mode is basically saying go run and gun. I do wish it was a little more difficult. I also wish the last fight so to speak was implemented as its own standalone mode. An endless survival mode. Maybe where the longer you survive you take more damage or healing is cut in half or something. The event while me enjoying it was fun but for sure not the "Best event in WuWa" history like I've been seeing. I did come across a bug where one of the turtles glitched through the ground and I had to slowly jog far away to get it to de-spawn so I could take it out, that sucked.

Its a cool concept that was poorly executed. You had too much time to acquire buffs, there was no urgency. The final wave challenge, which should have been the payoff, was way too short. Finally the ice buff was so strong it turned the fights into braindead plunge attack spam. It should have been a mad dash to get buffs before the wave started, then a large number of waves getting progressively harder. The buffs should have focused on making characters stronger so character and team choice actually meant something.

Tbh, one of Kuro's biggest weaknesses is their events. PGR has the same problem. Most of the events are repetitive and boring.
