Which is what it should be. Even at his worst (Kuze and Shibusawa from 0 got him on edge) he stopped from actually killing outside of self-defense. Everything else, why he fights, even the kills he made on the highway, has always been to protect himself, a defenseless person, or those precious to him, and they are the ones who intend to kill him, so those do not count as murder.
