Im at 136k right now and I just do the basics myself. This car is super solid and really its not even broken in till around 150k. I know alot of ppl at over 200k and still pullin hard. And as for the tires Ive had mine on for over a year and i run my shit hard. And i mean really hard and I just now am about to get tires.

Bought my 2011 G37XS Coupe with 6 Miles, currently just under 90K. No issues, routine oil changes, tire rotations or changing the tires in sets of 4 - bad potholes in the North East. One thing that does bother me is my mom and sisters rings would scrape the my titanium door trim - not a real issue. Buy a used one or lease a new on. Prior to this car I had an 04 G35, Coupe 06 G35X Sedan, 10 G35X Sedan. I’ve been driving Infiniti’s for a long time. Love them.

Fudo more obvious wear and tear. And a possible gulley gasket issue, older models have been suspectable to it since their literally paper. You’ll know because the engine will be in limb mode, oil pressure maybe low, and you’ll get a engine error code along the lines like P0300

I bought mine used but I've been doing oil changes on my coupe every 3,000 mobil 1 synthetic, but don't drive too much these days so I was thinking I could stretch it out further, to 5k miles. Also, I had the Concentric slave cylinder (Stock Plastic) failure at 99,000 and FML I learned a lot about the G/350/370 life with that one...lol. I swapped to a new one, not sure what it's made of, but of course did the clutch and at the same time. Jorge Gallo... seems like a pretty good deal. Check service records and make sure everything was looked after, if so then I say cop it. Also check paint and body work for scratches or dents you can use that to negotiate price down a bit.

if the oil gallery gaskets are upgraded/oil catch can due to need to clean throttle bodys (by spray n light wipe with rag dont manually open them)..afterwards idle relearn ..oil residue in pcv route back thru intake n form ridges where the throttle plate is....if its manaul. ...NEW ..UPGRADED SLave cylinder or slv cyl relocation to outside the bell housing.

I have a 2012 G37Sx. the biggest expense has been replacing lower control arms, one went bad so I had both right and left done...1200.00. I brought the car in 2015 with 29,000 miles, now I have 150,000. Time to get shocks and replace cv axles.

800 for front and rear rotors and pads? Seems big time high. I just replaced all 4 rotors and put ceramic pads on for 500. and that was at a shop. The big ticket item especially on the X around 60K is the Diff, Tranny, and T case fluid change. The fluids alone are around 150 or so plus labor and the gaskets. so around 500 or so bucks. Its seems your tires are running out really fast. Maybe a camber issues or just a mis calibrated alignment machine. Or maybe you are just having more fun then the rest of us. Drive belt is a normal service item at 30K. The VQs put out alot of heat thats why. And buy a Gates belt. keep in mind the coupes seem to have more issues then the sedans. I have 50k on mine and have had zero issues except for the 7AT reprogram.

I still have my original 05 G35 coupe and 08 M35 also. Both well over 100,000 miles and running strong. I was about to trade both in for Q60 Red sport but my heart can't let these two reliable beasts go. Solid cars. Only problem was cracked dash on M35 which Infiniti USA replaced for free 2 years after warranty experied. I had to fight with them though to get it replaced for free. These cars were bang for the bucks.

I bought a 2013 G37x sedan in October 2016 with 38,500 miles on it. Put on new tires right away. At 42,000 -Oil change, and a bunch of preventive stuff: transmission flush. brake fluid change, coolant flush & "driveline service" (differential fluid changes front & back, and transfer case fluid changes) all for $1,000 at the dealer. Since then oil change every 7 months. That's it. Still has original pads & rotors, lots of meat left on the pads, rotors are fine. Love the car. If you hot-rod more you'll use up brakes and tires faster.

1250, round that up to pass 1500, on a G37, for us, each year, roughly within a 8 year span, if we aren't doing our own maintenance on the vehicle. I think I will pass on buying one with 120K miles or more; although be it, if a mechanic owned the car with all the history of the work needed or to come with a span of time would give an idea of how much you would have to pay. I would say also if they give a regular customer cost vs their cost, they get discounts and waived cost due to them doing the work, this would be a great used buy until it fall to pieces. Yet, I think a mechanic would just keep the car for a longer term, such as 300K miles, before junking it. I'd say it cheaper owning a Lexus than a Infiniti....may want to consider that as the next car to get if you don't want the Toyota. Cost wise I am wondering since the Lexus may cost more than a Infiniti would it cost less in maintenance costs.

$60 oil change? I do my own change for my G37s 6spd coupe and I pay less than $25 with good filter and synthetic oil. To change belt, pulleys and tensioner I spent less than $200... Maybe being a technician and working on your car at your job isn't that cheap

@@bukklaog3717 Not trying to be an ass, but I think it's better to change more often with cheaper synthetic oil, than waiting so long and use the most expensive one. I do it every 3000mi or less and use SuperTech oil (yes, Walmart's beand, I also was a RoyalPurple fan, but after seeing ProjectFarm's comparison, and the fact that it meets all the same requirements as more expensive oils, I started to use this brand or Amazon Basics also)

You have to pay yourself labor to work on your own car? At my dealer all you have to do is have a manager generate a repair order for insurance reasons and then you can do whatever to your car on your day off or after hours.
