Sure 2020 GT can finish it low 12, wait till the new Z comes out, hopefully your 5.0 engine doesn’t become obsolete back like the 4.3 motor everyone would compare too for being slow compared to all the competition.

The Q60 is actually a car that can make huge amount of power. The reason why the Q50 and Q60 that come with average spec's from factory is because they don't want to compete against the GTR. I got to see first hand how a simple aftermarket ECU can gain any where from 100-150 WHP on a Q50 and Q60, you add simple bolt on's like bigger turbo's, injectors and intercooler and you are now making well over 600-700 WHP on a stock motor. I got to tune one myself and in terms of the motor, it's such a beast of a motor, but the weakest point in this car is transmission, it's one reason why I believe that the 400z with the most likely the same motor as the Q50/Q60 but offers it with a 6 speed manual is going to be a hot seller.

The reason he lost the 2nd roll was that he over-revved the 4 popper. The reason the EB shortshifts in auto mode is because it makes no power at the top. If you rev the EB like he did, it is significantly slower than 5.5k shift points.

Nice - that was enjoyable. Once the 7AT upshifts on the roll its game over - no chance, you really need to hit the gear correctly by feathering the throttle to try to keep the revs at a point where it doesn't automatically upshift in "auto". Roll races with that trans is really a crap shoot, real mixed back of results with the Q50/60 models, both Silver Sport and Red Sport models. Still continues to shine off a dig. I can smell that 100k subs Sam!

I have a 2019 5.0 with the 10 speed. Even though it is really fast with that transmission, I can’t stand it! It is a messy transmission, it bucks and is clunky. The worst by far! If I would have known, I would have bought the 6 speed manual. Although slower, but more enjoyable when driving around town. My old 17 GT with the six speed auto was tuned way better for city driving.

I have a 10 speed mustang hpp and I took it to the strip for the first time last month. Once I learned how to launch it I beat a hellcat to the 60 foot line. It ended up being a 13.8 second run and the hellcat had an 11.9 second run. So while the HPP isn't the fastest thing out there, it has a really strong launch.

It is a very powerful motor for a mass produced 4cyl. But remember that 3.0t is running 100hp detuned from factory and it has a lot more to go over the RS400 trim.

I don’t get how a twin turbo slapped on a v6 only produces 300 horsepower. My naturally aspirated Tacoma is only down 20 hp. I can only hope the engine is at least reliable or tuner friendly

Guaranteed your Tacoma doesn’t have 290 ft/lbs of torque which is available at lower rpms. The 3.0t is severely undertuned in order to be used as a base engine.

I have a 2021 Mustang HPP with the Track Package which comes with the bigger brakes, 6 speed manual and the P-Zero Corse tires. That thing is faster than a V8 GT around most tracks. They did something to those special addition HPP cars. It's strange to see just how different my HPP is compared to the other normal HPP Mustangs.
