The code I got was p0456. My scanner reads that it's a permanent code. I read it won't erase until the cars computer acknowledges it's been fixed. Is that right or should I just clear it?

Even if it's not the same, you can get an idea. Take the engine cover off, and try to locate the evap canister.

Probably not since it is an 8 cyl motor instead of 6 cyl, but maybe.

I got code p0456, small evap leak. First, it was my gas cap, then check engine light came back, so I changed the part in this vid, I hope it clears
