My honest experience with the T2s+ Vs the seek compact pro, I found the T2S+ is far much better redardless. It has a better 25hz frame rate and better picture. The seek compact pro has 320X240 thermal sensor and 15hz frame rate compared to T2s plus 256x192, but the T2S plus performs better in quality, picture and software. They both have temperature glitches 3-5 C plus or minus. I have no problem finding shorts hot spot with the T2s+ and with the seek.

The problem with the T2S+ is that it doesn't hone in on the hot spot, like the Seek does. For that reason alone, the Seek is better in my opinion

Thanks so much for the video, I have been waiting for it. I think the Seek compact pro has a better resolution, but I love the inbuilt Marco lens option. Try using this thermal camera to make a video of finding small short like 40mA leakage and try to do a stand for thermal camera let see what you will come with. Thanks🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️❤️

Looks like a really good camera for the money Jesse , useable even though short viewing distance, overall a clear image. Definitely needs a stand like the one you made for the seek compact pro.Great video as always. The irepair rc10 a great thermal camera worth checking out. I rarely use my seek compact pro now since getting it. Great camera that has great features on the software. Thanks for the share Jesse 👍

Thank you! I don't like the RC10 style cameras because it's large & bulky, plus that requires you to look up at your monitor, away from the board that you're working on. The smartphone style cameras are better since you can keep the screen and the board all within your field of view.

@@VCCBoardRepairs I agree it is a lot more bulky and does take up more room on the bench but it is a great thermal camera, I prefer it if I’m honest but it’s down to personal preference. There is a benefit with the smartphone thermal cameras not having to look away at the monitor and being all in field of view but i find it’s a bonus of being able to have it on the larger display monitor. It’s got it’s plus and minuses like everything.great video Jesse, really enjoyed watching.👍

Actually the Seek Compact Pro has bigger resolution than this camera. Although it gets the job done, so doesn’t really matter. Having the macro built in is nice

I am trying to figure out wich I should buy: *Seek Thermal Compact* or the *infiray P2* They both cost roughly the same and have about the same resolution. The image from he P2 seems a lot clearer though. sharper and less lines and noise. however the seek has a much wider temperature range wich could come in handy: Seek: -40 to 330 C P2: -20 to 170 C P2 has a way higher framerate Seek: 9 hz P2: 25 hz Please help me choose!

I've the same camera, and this app produce blury images. I recommed the "Free Community made apps for T2 | T3 | DP09 | DL13 series" from CleanUnbox/netman. Settings should be: Scaling Mode = Nearest Neighbor Sharpening = 0.50 Picture output resolution = 1024x576 So, there is no blury or sharpening filter, only the raw-data I guess.

Its not better then Seek Compact pro.. You can get way better result with the Seek Pro, simply because of the way higher resolution Seek Pro 77k (320x240) vds 49k (192x256) with T2L. but what really lets these budget infiray dongles down is the app... that is so limited... you cant even span lock if I recall.. really an aspect where Infiray should step up to the plate or at least made the T3S app valid for the T2series.. if you need an Infiray dongle that outperforms Seek Pro.. you need to look at T3S and up.
