With the rmr footprint might be good as piggy back on a more traditional optic like an acog.

Hey man, a lot of bashing in the comments… I fast forwarded through the video and it was essentially 98% of you talking about “what could be”. I think with a new product like this, guys want to see what it’s capable of rather than speculation. You’re on the right track. God Bless brother.

an eye cup would be a nice addition, and i would prefer external controls. thanks for the solid review.

An eye cup or anything to minimize the light coming back would be huge.

defiantly been waiting on a good video like this. was thinking same thing about your QD mount idea. the retical actually going away completly would be helpful there. so you just use your already zeroed red dot behind it to be the dot, and just have your eyes do the same basic thing as 2 eyes open. supper impose the dot onto the screen to use.

rambling , holding a bear creek arsenal and shooting a target in the daytime at 10feet . lmao 🤣😂🤣
@ClangandBang11 күн бұрын
You’re free to make your own video holding a super expensive gun, shooting targets at night at 1000 yards.
@crisincebu10 күн бұрын
@@ClangandBang people who buy thermals are using them at night , they also not using them for shots 10feet away . so making a video at night and showing the range wouldve been a better video . the bear creek arsenal is garbage , a PSA or any ar15 over $600 wouldve been better to put that optic on . smh
@ClangandBang10 күн бұрын
@ it’s hard to film at night, this is a “pistol” optic so long range doesn’t matter, and the BCA .22 was used as a demo gun for the video. Also, the BCA has been running very well.

i was also thinking of those touchscreen use films they make that cuts down screen glare as a way to help cut down the screen brightness visible from around you.
@ClangandBang2 ай бұрын
That sounds like a good idea. It’ll help protect the screen too. 👍🏻

As an avid shooter and a hardcore gamer here is some context. 30FPS/Hz means a new image every 33.33 ms, 60 fps/hz every 16.67ms and 120fps/hz means 8.33 ms. Basically the higher the FPS/hz the more accurate the information to real life, basically reduces the lag between real life and the digital image shown to you. I tried a 500hz gaming monitor and had a graphics card that could render all 500 frames per second. I have to say, I think this is the spot where you can’t really tell the difference between reality versus computer image generation. Hopefully thermal optics will get to this point. The major hold back more than anything is battery life since faster refresh and more processing power to render means it’s unlikely to get any higher than 60hz for quite a long time.
@ClangandBang2 ай бұрын
I didn’t realize refresh rates were that much higher on games. That’s some good info, thanks for sharing that 👍🏻

The talking portion of the video needs to be in the daylight so you can see it. I showed footage at night, and when I shot it during the day I warmed up the target so there would be a definite temperature difference compared to the surroundings.
