I understand your point about music. I rarely feel depressed listening to melancholic music. Instead it's like I am having a conversation with someone about a topic whose framework for understanding I do not need to set up from scratch. Thinking about what a songs interpretation of a phenomenon, idea, or emotional experience means. It places me in a cathartic, cerebrally investigative mood. Less like drowning in ennui and more like blissfully kissing ennui.

I'm an INFJ and my sister is an ENFP! There's a really special bond between us. I recognize many of the things you're talking about. Most of the people close to me are ENFPs too. I really love their special kind of energy! There are some other types I share special bonds with though, especially ENFJs and fellow INFJs. All the NFs in fact. I got some difficulties to get really close to INFPs, but I'm always fascinated and enjoy philosophizing with them...

Im definitely the male version of EnFp. Maybe a tad more laid back. But maybe not in the company of INFJ. If it's free to be me it probably be alot less reserved. Definitely ying and yang chemistry and I definitely can see why an INFJ would be great person to have in my circle. The problem is y'all are so rare!! Thanks for the video

I’m an INFJ with an ENFP as a younger sister. we had rough childhoods that prevented us from being close but now that we both grew up a bit and we’re beginning to discover all the joy we can offer each other. One of my closest friends is an ENFP as well and I miss her so much - she bought so much love and joy and acceptance and spontaneity in my life - but the pandemic has been hard and we haven’t been able to hang out as much

The love you pour onto each other is so wonderful it made me cry 😭 I am an INFJ and my closest friend is an ENFP. Our friendship is not as strong and deep and yours appears to be. But she is very special to me. She has an energy and optimism that I could never have. It helps being around her when I've gone too far into a dark hole in my mind. She helps me to have fun just for the sake of it. As an INFJ everything has to have meaning, and so I have trouble seeking out experiences just for the sake of joy and fun. My ENFP friend gets me out into the world and out of my head when I need it. 💜 I tend to always be more comfortable and at ease around other ENFPs too. They have such an open and positive energy that it helps me to relax and goof around. Just watching these videos I'm thinking, ahh man, Mackenzie would be an amazing person to hang out with!

It's interesting you would say that about the colors because Matthew Gray Gubler is obviously an ENFP and he loves purple and pastels and orange (like Halloween) and I'm an INFJ and I've always been blue then purple then space and orange and autumn colors like brownish red and wheat

I never met an INFJ girl and it’s like I have this feeling that I’m in love with myself 😶😄 Although I’m a male, I thought to myself for 1 second out of my whole life that if I had to paint my nails I would paint it in black, so yeah pretty funny I just see all those small things that are just... me. And also my music is probably the most important thing to me and it’s weird I have that chiiiilll playlist that most people think I’m psycho for listening to that and I have my heavy playlist of that is uhm also just weird
