INFJ - ENFP Friendships (Part One)

Today I finally get to introduce you all to my ENFP best friend, Mackenzie. I spoke about her in my very first INFJ - ENFP video and some of you requested that I make a video with us together. Our relationship is full of quirks, growth and love and I hope you enjoy our interactions with each other. I'll be uploading the second half soon!

I like seeing interactions like these very pure and natural. Friendships like this remind me of how deep the essence of love is filtered through humanity. You know Its interesting no matter what unique instrument you use to channel or express it...scientific, psychological, spiritual, or biological it's substance is a uniform melody and our hearts the chords to build it ... this was a beautiful song looking forward to the encore haha! 😊

My ENFP friend and I went on a trip for her birthday. She wanted to do an escape room for the first time, and I had only done one before, so we decided to give it a shot. We ended up doing three in a row and beating all three in the same day. It really shows how our functions compliment each other. We both take in information and process it a bit differently, but it's great because we help each other think of all the different possibilities.

I love you guys friendship! As a fellow ENFP I relate to your best friend SO MUCH. It's creepy almost! Even down to my obsession to astrology and trying to understand WHY and most importantly WHAT IF! Everything is OVERALL understanding, empathy, love, and harmony which causes EVERYONE to be happy and functioning at their best. I fell that you guys REALLY love and understand each other and the devotion of each person to the friendship. It is really special to watch. You guys are so bomb! I see myself and my friends in this video.

As an INFJ I know what you meant about the struggle to put yourself out there finding people who can reach a deeper connection. My bestfriend is also an ENFP and finding a relationship on a similar level with someone else has proven to be quite the challenge. True connections feel very obvious from my experience, but are as rare as they are special. I loved this video of you two and found it very humbling to see a friendship much like my own. Looking forward to more from Kiwibird and Red. :)

Yes. True connections are so rare, but so treasured and I think INFJs are the type of individual to hold out on giving all of their energy until they establish those connections. Even though KZbin is a virtual world, it's full of real people and I love when connections are established here as well. Always appreciate your comments :)

I'm an ENFP (Aries) and my best friend is an INFJ (Sagittarius), we can be a bit wild but our friendship is like no other. We just get each other without having to explain to one another what they "mean," we just GET each other, it's so nice since I have so many problems with people not understanding me or vice versa. 1:50 I met another INFJ recently and my first thought of her was ENTP. She is assertive and very business like. Personality traits do not relate to cognitive functions. I still have hope to find an INFJ friendship. Do you have the feeling that you are inside out versions of each other. That is what it did feel like with my INFJ friend ? 4:12 That ENFP thinks the world of you. 12:03 "Have not yet met .." yeah I hear you on this. I spend most of my time alone because I cannot find many people that get it. I can see and feel the emotional intensity of the ENFP during this video. It is where we want to be. I feel it is only the INFJs that can hold such a space for an ENFP. (ENFP)

You have a beautiful friendship! I have a question.. I'm ENFP and one of my best friends is an INFJ. We grew really close last year but I feel like she disconnected a bit. It could be because she has social anxiety (it became much better tho), but sometimes her behaviour seem bit cold to me and she doesnt't like listening to long stories for instance. I feel like I wanna share even more with her than she does and also like displaying more emotions. Sometimes her way of being hurts me, maybe because I take into too much her emotions and it has not always to do with me. Otherwise we can also connect on a really deep level and there are times its very close. I wanna know if this sounds familiar to you or this might be a specific issue we have and what could it be?

We just get overwhelmed by the emotions is all. We are not used to people connecting with us on a deeper level (very exciting for us even when it doesn’t appear obvious from the outside) and, when it does happen, we need time to recharge as introverts afterwards. We INFJs are hypersensitive to everything, I swear! I hate when I become cold - I wish I was more social like you guys. :(

I love this video!! Thanks you two. I can relate so much with the EnFp issue of friends. I would agree it's authentic to relate because we have to realize sometimes we are actually following steps. As whole over the course of our lives we have made a big impact in our world. One person at a time. Just think of how many people you've played that role for in your life. A bigger plan and a bigger impact is actually a secondary plan. You can't ignore all the people you've already impacted. We never reflect on the past. But you truly can't deny yourself that truth because it's unnoticed doesn't mean it's not true. Give yourself the credit. Reflection becomes a very valuable part of your mind when you get into your 30's. Maybe it's a growth and maturity milestone. But things become clearer and you can look back and say ... You know what I really have already done alot of good already. Far more work for humanity then 95 percent of the population who doesn't even seem to care! Thanks for both your parts in our cause

Oh yes. Her Ni (ENFP) is the so-called Nemesis function. Basically, it's her "gateway into the Unconscious," which is the INFJ. (Hard to explain but she does use it if she focuses on it.)

I am an ENFP and also into astrology. My sun sign is Aquarius and my moon sign is Pisces (both tend to be more introverted) but my rising sign is Leo and I have Mars, Venus, Jupiter and Neptune in Sagittarius (more extroverted). My husband is an INFJ and he is also an Aquarius but with his moon and rising signs both in Cancer). We met online when he sent me a DM, met for a casual first date, and two months later were married. When my friends, who all happened to be heavily LGBT (emotional and intuitive), met him after our 3rd date, they kept asking us when we were going to get married. We've been married for 21 years , no kids this lifetime, but maybe in the next. We're just enjoying this lifetime, just the 2 of us.

I disagree. At first I thought the one girl was an INTJ cuz her mannerisms reminded me of my sister. Then she started talking through the way she thinks about things and what's important to her and I'm like, "Yep, she's an INFJ." The other girl is for SURE an ENFP.
