You are very right about the generalized anxiety that is simply searching for a target. The “I am in danger” stems from a past, possibly a single time trauma event, when this statement really was true. We keep on operating on this mode for our lifetimes and don’t even understand why. Getting to the root event of the generalized anxiety helps a lot!

We constantly bombarded by fear-based messages. Instead of being taught how to direct our lifeforce in a manner that is life affirming.

I always enjoy your messages but know that this one brought me to a very strong, clear, MUCH needed innerstanding that is helping me forgive myself on many levels. Thank you, beloved Soul

Lauren you are spot on about how the anxiety leads to more cortisol being released which just perpetuates the fear cycle and causes all sorts of bodily dysfunctions including a build up of belly fat and disrupted sleep.

We tend to be so in our heads that we are not tuned into our body. I’ve neglected issues to the point that others have needed to call out my lack of medical self-care.

Same here, even though I dealt with health anxiety for a while. I wouldn't go to the doctor and wouldn't stop to take care of it. I'd just ignore it most of the times and when it's got worse I'd just try to control it, which worsen it even further.

I've always had health anxiety even when I told by a doctor that everything is alright. However, for practically all of my life, things have been alright - until recently. Last week I had a skin exam checking for skin cancer and a blood test at the same time and same place. I focused so much about the skin exam but didn't focus that much on the blood draw. It turned out the my skin was great but the blood test had a concern. So I guess I should had my thoughts on the blood test more. Nine years ago I had major surgery for prostate cancer and had my entire prostate removed. As it turned out, I still had some PSA readings with my blood tests since then. I've taken medication for it and it helped to bring it down, but the PSA never went away. And now just recently, my PSA number has risen even though I've been on medication for it. I recently got a message from the Oncologist saying that I have to have a scan to see what's going on. I'm just bonkers over this!

I beat health anxiety (haven’t had it in years) but I will tell you it was one of the worst things I have ever experienced. If anyone wants to know what I did to beat it I am happy to share. It was actually easier than expected and I noticed a huge difference in 24 hours
