The INXX appear to share a Neojungian cognitive function, which creates a more philosophical and introspective temperament. Does this lead to an increased chance of existential anxiety?

My whole life has been an existential crisis, and I'm definitely an IN. I worry that I'm not doing enough with my life, I'm not learning enough, I don't have enough ideas (or I have too many?!), I am spending too much time on pointless activities....the list goes on. I also ask myself if what I see in front of me is real, if the past exists or it is just an illusion, and if a thing is itself. I absolutely love questioning everything. I never do anything without wondering why I'm doing it. And I agree that it's very fulfilling to feel like there's a purpose. But I always have this feeling of restlessness, like there isn't enough time for all the possibilities... This video addresses some really important issues, so thanks!

I like all of your videos, but this one really speaks to me on a personal level. I've had an existential crisis my whole life (and no one around would understand it, they'd just tell me that I "think too much"), but lately I've gotten into existential depression. Your video helps. Thank you!

You are so cool. Thank you for doing what you do. I appreciate people like you who really take this topic seriously (and other life/psychological topics) and dive deep. As an INFP, I truly appreciate the videos you've posted. Keep on

Holy shit, this is so incredibly relatable it´s almost creepy. I think about what point my whole existence has all the time. I think, life is actually pointless. No matter how much we reach, or what we do in our life, after a certain time it just... disappears. Looses any meaning. For the future creatures existing on this planet, we will have kinda never existed. And considering that time and space have no Limit and that time is endless, our small, forgettable existence has no real point. But then again i slip out of those thoughts and live my life on, until they come again. I just love those deep, philosophical concepts. No, it DOESNT make me or other inpts depressed. At least most of us. We just enjoy deep thoughts. (Sorry if my english is not the best, I´m from Germany)

This is great! Growing up I had these thought processes intermittently. I am a very late bloomer, I guess. It wasn't until I reached 41 that I had these types of thought processes of "What is my purpose etc." on a frequent and consistent basis. INTJ (also tested as INTP three times.) You might have just really changed my life for the better! May true peace find you.

Hello, Eric! I can totally relate to your everyday existential crisis and constant search for meaning! I'm 28 and all tests I've taken along the years and almost everything on INFJ I've read or watched applies to me.

I love that Age of Empires cheating analogy LOL. I used to do the same, and it would only be fun for 5 minutes then I'd have to stop playing and go do something worthwhile.

I think there are lots of things in the world that need attention - from art to science to animal rights. There’s no one purpose that we have to struggle to find. I think we just need to pick one and move forward. I may have one grand one or a series of small ones.

Hah.. what you say about cheating. That applies to feeling that I'm making things too hard by not taking shortcuts. But I really do get bored if I do that. The only exception to that rule is when it is a dull task that I have never gotten enjoyment from. If I do enough of that task I find that I'm very happy to find a shortcut that cuts out a task that is not very engaging for me. But the comment about cheating (even tho it isn't really cheating in my example here) it is similar to thinking that hey if only I could go faster through life's challenges (not just a video game) then that would be awesome but it never is. A challenge that engages me to change something in myself even if it is dreadfully difficult is worth going through.

Spelade mycket AoE helt klart, men var faktiskt bäst på Starcraft. Besegrade alla mina vänner så de fick köra 3v1 mot mig för att ha en chans (det hade de inte) :P
