Yes, you were very fortunate to do that when you did. Interest rates were still very low. Things keep climbing up, but I’m hopeful we will see a reduction soon.

Good video, Jeff. Everyone's in for a rough ride, nationwide. I realize that your business will be struggling with the lower volume, too, until interest rates and the market values plateau, "normalize". Most of my life, we paid higher mortgage interest rates (with top credit) than folks are paying today. However, the shock to the younger generation is going to last a while. Personal budgets don't respond as quickly as the Fed is able to jack up rates. Same thing with housing values, thru the roof with easy money government policies, then whipsawed downwards, when the government & Fed quickly change course. It'll probable take a few years to settle down. Meanwhile, we're all just trying to hang on, one way or the other. God bless!

I’m an optimist, but it’s hard to be an optimist when bacon cost $8.99, lol. The biggest downside to all of this is not that interest rates are in the 7’s, but everyone’s mindset is stuck in the 3’s, because that has been the hype for the last couple of years. It will be an adjustment for sure.

Jeff, get a Sam’s Club or Costco card so you can save on gas

I live about 15 minutes from a Sam’s or Costco, so the money I would save would likely be eaten up by the extra time I would spend driving and the distance. But yes, when I am over there, I’ll do my best to go that route.
