You know what Noel, that $1,000.00 flight on the private jet is basically the same price as commercial flight business class anyway. You got better service and were treated as a person and not cargo. So definitely worth it. I have a close mate who's a geologist for 16 years and was contracted with ConocoPhillips in Jakarta, Indonesia, and flew on their private jets and choppers where ever he went on business. He was totally spoiled. Anyhow, Noel is a great video that keeps flying high and with a smile 😊

When I was about 10, I was invited up to the cockpit of a commercial domestic flight. They showed me around, made me feel welcome, and I was even allowed to "pilot" the commercial flight (I'm guessing it was on auto-pilot, or the second pilot was prepared to take over) -probably one of the most memorable times of my childhood! Since 911, that doesn't happen much, but the open cockpit style still exists in private jets and limited small-scale domestic flights.

My best flying memory was in 2005 flying LAX-AMS on a KLM 747. I was a little kid back then, and we were flying to visit family in the Netherlands. It turned out that my mom's cousin was a flight attendant on our flight, and his wife was one of the pilots. They invited me into the cockpit and I got to look at a 747 cockpit in flight, after 9/11. There's definitely not a lot of other people out there who experienced something like this.

How many passengers did they take to Love Field before Noel boarded, and from Aspen (Rifle) afterwards? It has to average out to a profit, of course. There could be a reason to fly three people rather than zero people if the craft had to be transferred anyhow.

It's no different than the airlines. Some flights are full, some are empty. I have had a couple flights over the years where I was the *only* passenger - and once I was one of 11 on a transatlantic BA 747. I am thinking they fully book that Love Field to Aspen flight every flight up and back during ski season. It seems a lifetime ago (actually about 45 years) when I visited Aspen when dad was stationed at Lowery AFB in Denver. Maybe my memories of it are of Vail or other ski resorts further east towards Denver, but it looks very high-desert in comparison to world-class ski resort. Thank you for sharing with this aging, disabled man. One of my very first posters I remember buying for myself was from the Flughafen in Frankfurt. It had about 40 or so different airlines (every single one that flew into and out of Frankfurt at that time in the early 70's, sans the Air Force contract flights using the two gate terminal on the U.S. Air Base side). I was fortunate enough to cross the north Atlantic 10 times and criss-cross the U.S. (including flying to St. Paul Island in the Pribiloffs from Anchoarage) about 30 or so times. Keep up the great work, my friend. It is refreshing to see your new video every Sunday morning at the top of my YT feed instead of the constant din of the modern world... To use the proper British saying, Happy Christmas to you and your family, Noel❤
