people are just trying to survive in a system based on the most evil and horrific exploitation that can be imagined. when genocide is rewarded with everything needed to be happy then the dream will be to become successful at genocide too. most Americans don't know the history of the cia and what it did to ensure that we can have fresh insanely cheap fruit all over the country in the dead of winter but it entailed giving direct aid (including cash, weapons and training) to psychopaths who would go about happily butchering everyone they could, even little children and babies for sport. Seeing firsthand what the American govt did to small south American countries just so we can have cheap bananas would make the average person tear their own eyes out. it's why the communist have always rightly pointed out that the best analogy for capitalism is a meat grinder.

Influence can be good or bad. Therefore, influencers can have a positive or negative impact. The name "influencer" doesn't imply anything about the quality of the influence. Unfortunately, it seems the trend right now is that they aren't really aware of that.

Those little changes help a lot and inspire other people to feel like they have the power to change which then encourages others everywhere else. Aaaaa! Hi, first of all- I love you, and that’s all that really matters. Second, I heard you do a shout out to Bangladesh today- and I actually squealed with excitement! I’m a Bangladeshi woman working in construction👷🏾♀️, and I am the norm. I was so so happy to hear that you visited my country- which #sciencefact, banned usage of polythene as early as 2000s (I remember it from childhood), is ridiculously prone to disaster but yet sustains the worlds most dense population (in a country)- not a good thing, just interesting - and it was ranked in terms of 24th out of all countries in terms of feminism due to greater than greater than a quarter of women being represented in business and the government (👷🏾♀️! Hi again!). I’ve been lucky enough to travel a lot but I truly don’t know of a more insane (always a good thing) place than my amazing home country- NYT did a great article recently on how it developed rapidly but on very non-traditional lines (investedment in women and children). Hope that interests you and you get to learn more about it in one of your “ooooohh 🎶 what did we learn this week”. For now, Lots of love from bangladesh 🇧🇩 (I.e. NOT India) Inaya 🐯

Thanks for coming out with this! If people watched more videos like this maybe we would save a lot more energy than they took to make. We're in such a stage of advanced idiocracy and people still think it's OK to keep consuming, consuming, consuming (and still all the breeding...) I live with catchment water and solar power, and buy or trade for local food and used or recycled goods, etc. (as much as I can) and I know I am still WAAAAAAY ON the grid. Sadly, the influencers may be the most egregious but the average first world citizen is still insanely, cluelessly, irresponsibly and uneccessarily consumer oriented and destructive. Time to wake up!
