Kintaro slapped Momotaro on the way outside. 🤣 He truly is the youngest child. I never get bothered when my parents got mad at me either. I’d just think “they’ll be alright” and continue with whatever I’m doing. Kintaro is so funny for that. 😂

When my son and I visited Japan in 2018, we were amazed at how quiet everyone was. The Japanese are so respectful with their silence on the transport and in general. So it's lovely to hear the children's voices. Tokyo was so beautiful and breathtaking, but we took away the respectable way you Japanese people are in general. We also took away the memories of how spotless and organised your country is as well. I'm disabled and used a wheelchair, and the help from the Japanese was so good.

There are two reasons why we Japanese support you. Now that in Japan crimate rate is quite low, we safely approach a stranger( we don't know). In school, students clean up thier roooms themselves and do the same thing for younger students( 7 to 9) than them if they are over 10 years old.

While I doubt this will happen, I would love to see Kyoto City Zoo be a pioneer and create a space for Japan's first gorilla bachelor group. Perhaps Monta could be moved there, creating a space in Chiba for Komomo, Momoka and Annie, until a silverback could be found for them. Because the sad truth is that Kintaro's plight is the same as all the other child gorillas. He will stay with his family. And, with Kintaro's bold personality, he likely will challenge Momotaro often as he grows and matures.

We've come to love this family of apes so much, we hope their life is a good one, we think everyone involved in there care tries very much and goes to great lengths for the Momotaro family. Thank you so much. It's just to bad and very sad that the world is not safe for them because of poachers, hunters fires and deforestation etc, it's sad they can't be free but if they can give them more room and a bigger yard that would be wonderful this beautiful family deserves so much, as all living creatures do.

Dear GL Ryan, you have given us very good and optimistic information that new premises and rooms will be built for our beloved Momotaro family. In the new rooms, the boys will be able to stay in privacy and not annoy each other. Currently, there is neutrality between Momotaro and Gentaro. But this is a very tense situation. And no one can guarantee that one of the males will not start a fight.

Good they will have more room in their home, but I think they need more room outside more, soto roam. In the last video,I heard saccades and the tire was tied high, and Gentaro didn't have scar on his head,I meant to mention it,I know parts of that video was old.

@Janadu Even now kintaro is not afraid of Momotaro. lol At the same age of Kintaro, Gentaro didn't do such a thing. Gentaro is in puberty and almost becomes an adult gorilla, right. It means that Kintaro will be sure to strongly express his feelings against Momotaro when he turns 10 or so.

I live near the St Louis Zoo in Missouri in the U.S. many years ago, like so many other zoos the gorillas and chimpanzees were kept in cages with concrete floors and metal bars. Then there was another fence around the whole thing to keep people back. But that didn’t keep people from harrassing the apes or the apes getting irritated with how they had to live so they would scoop handfuls of the urine puddles and fling it thru the bars at the people. Are they would grab their poop and throw it out at the people. It was pretty gross if you got hit with either. But I’m sure glad they have made better accommodations for all of them now and hopefully they don’t get so upset anymore.

New rooms? You mean new CAGES?! Making new "rooms" is another way of saying new TOMBS. It's really just a slap in the face to build more cages when the humane thing to do would be to give them more OUTSIDE SPACE, with grass, trees, SKY! It's a shame that Kyoto zoo draws in millions of dollars every year because of these majestic gorillas but they have yet to give them an adequate habitat. I've been asking about this for FIVE YEARS, and now, now they are going to give them more cages?!?! Gorillas are herd animals that like to be together with their families. They don't need, or desire more privacy, that's ridiculous. They don't care the animals are bored out of their minds, and depressed. It's heartbreaking, and if this zoo is unwilling to sacrifice to make a better habitat for them then they should give them to a zoo who actually cares about their mental health and well being. It's shameful these animals can not even forage for their food. No grass, no trees, no edible landscape. It's not impossible to do, just look at the MANY gorilla habitats that have figured it out! What is the hold up Kyoto Zoo!? Forget the new "rooms"! Give them some SKY!!!!

Ich mache mir auch Sorgen um die zwei Brüder weil es in einer anderen Gruppe auch zwei Brüder gibt in der Ombi Gruppe da wurde der große Bruder Lope der so im Alter von Gentaro ist von der Familie in eine Junggesellen Gruppe nach Frankreich gekommen.Das ist noch in Ordnung aber sein jüngere Bruder Shufai wurde kastriert und ich habe Angst das auch mit Kintaro passiert.
