Delightful to meander thru the woodland with William as he generously guides us thru the landscape with his insightful musings. I love how he quotes beloved friends, and their words harmonize with the songs of the forest. As we listen gently, we feel beckoned to participate in the flow of life-to stand open -hearted in the face of whatever shows up - and to trust that we will find that there’s beauty in it all. We can feel our preferences for order and the urgent quest for understanding slip away. We sense that somehow, mysteriously, magically, if we dip our cup into the waters of life, an elixir, not of understanding, but of inspiration, will lovingly pour forth.

Dear Adrian, I love your poetic and tender comment. Yes, I too felt this was such a magical talk. It lifts the heart into that wide open, spaciousness, the unpretentious Love, the Love that is innocent, unbound and carefree. No limits, just the pure Joy of Living, naturally. the way of the pure heart. We can find the Honest Child we are and Live this Immense Life we are. .

And William reiterates this important statement: Resignation, that is to be the being that being is being, to be It and without struggle with the world, and without an attempt to gain the world’s riches, without becoming lost in the confusion of the world, without being sidetracked in the power and importance of the world, the dignity of it, and the social prestige of it, and the position that one should attain in it, and all of that bunk, resignation, not mystic, not detached but resignation open eyed, conscious and informed by love, here is the resignation that is the balance between the heart and the intellect, here is the resignation that is neither intellectually oriented, nor heart oriented, a perfect balance of the two. It is the only one of our feelings for which it is impossible to become a sham.
