That was a very informative video. I have a Jeep Wrangler JK that came with the same radio that you installed. My jeep JK does not have the backup camera but with this video, I think I can install the backup camera. Is it possible to wire it where you can have access to the backup camera even when not in reverse?. Possibly getting power from the radio when the Jeep is on or some other location. Thank you for your help with this video.

Its more of a programming issue. The programmer we offer is designed to cut the camera on when you are in reverse. I don't think the factory programming will allow Camera in Motion for safety purposes. Nav-TV may have a work around as we are limited to the factory programming.

Hey, this is great. What size Posi taps are you using? Is it the 20-22 ga.?

Hello thank you for the feedback! If you are within the vehicle compatibility range, the kit will come with the appropriate size needed. There are various sizes depending on the year.

I bought an aftermarket rqdio with included camera, how do i find the r right size posi tabs?

The posi-taps that we would use are 20 gauge as the max.

So how would you do it if you didn't use the programmer you sell? Will any scanner be able to program the camera?
@Infotainment_nav9 ай бұрын
A dealer should be able to provide the programming but it is much easier and cheaper to go with our programmer. We only sell it without for customers who are looking for a direct replacement for a damaged camera.

Do you have to have the programmer to get image on screen? A friend of mine bought a used JK that had had a camera, but was cut out. I tried wiring it up based off the drawing provided and keep getting blank screen with check surroundings message
