WOW....just WOW! I am done in listening to this three times in a row...for my money this is the quintessential Sieglinde artist. Going to listen to more. Many thanks!

This was the only time Borkh sang in the festival--a pity. She was not only a superb vocalist but an actress as well. She never (to the best of my knowledge) took on the role of Brunhilde, but she would have made a superb Senta. I suspect that the Wagner "E roles" didn't interest her but they would have been superbly sung if she had. A great Elektra and Turandot.

Who is this tenor who sounds basically okay at one point and then at another sounds constipated? Such an interruption in the enjoyment of this great music and her amazing performance.
