At the end of the Operation, we ask again, what is the Tessellation?
It is the membrane that protects us from Exogenous entities. After learning about the disasters in Nemesis' world and long debate, the Researchers have finally decided to reform our membrane, cutting out Exogenous influence. in turn, the purified XM energy on Earth would become safer for scientific, artistic, and other usages.
In order to do that, the Agents have revisited 196 Portals to collect 196 Tesserae and completed the Tessellation Board. Tones extracted from each individual Tesserae were used to compose a musical piece, called the World Resonance. With all the Prime Artifacts ready, the Agents and Researchers figured out how to combine the powers of 13 Prime Artifacts in a particular order. Finally, combine all of the above to tune the Tessellation.
This is an intercepted transmission of the final Operation. The Researchers assembled the elements; from that emerged a Tecthulhu that took the shape of an Ouroboros.

@@briang53 ADA tried to gain the knowledge of the N'Zeer, the natural enemies of the Shapers. I think she changed her mind recently, but she definitely tried to contact them and bring them back.

@@leothi2 Yea, that's not true at all. But, let me explain. At one point the Enl wanted to destroy ADA. Which was a completely dumb idea. Why? Will ADA is Ingress without ADA there's no Ingress and your scanner will no longer work. That created the Enl next "great" idea to get rid of her. Simply send her to the Nazeer however this once again backfired on them when ADA started to become more powerful when she started mergeing with the Nazeer technology. By the next Anomaly they where fighting to bring her back to earth. See? She never tried to get the Nazeer technology it was the Enl that forced her to go there in the first place. Wendy/ADA doesn't like the Shapers or the Nazeer. Last, this is just about the Shapers the Nazeer haven't been around yet.

As a resistant, I'm glad to see this. This is the objective I had since the beginning. However, the errors continue to bother me. It definitely looks like the Undine tried to ingress our world during the tuning. It is strange, if you do believe they designed the Tesselation themselves. It seems like they were contained by the Dagger. Since all of the artifacts needed to be used, it may be the normal procedure. But if it was an emergency protocol, I'm quite worried for the future.

The Helios Beacon has the ability to repel the Exogenous, which was activated upon verification of Campbell's fingerprint ID. Alexander's Dagger, I think, was used to bring the Researcher's XM sensitivity back down to nominal levels. The Tecthulhu (and the Ouroboros that formed as a consequence) could have been a necessary product of the Tessellation reconfiguration, or there could have been a deliberate attempt by the Undine to ingress. They claimed they have no interest in returning, but the Exogenous have already demonstrated their duplicitous nature. Given that the Ouroboros appears to dissipate upon completion of the reconfiguration, either possibility could be true. The Tessellation reconfiguration seemed to work. The final visualization has no flaws or imperfections. Given that each Tessellation in the multiverse was created by the Undine, I wouldn't be surprised if we see a lot more of them in the future, now that the Shapers and the N'zeer are out of the picture.

@@moxenial ok, thanks for the explanations, I'll need to research the meaning of each archetype and their associated artifact. However, isn't the Ouroboros an early Tecthulhu, by the way created by the Undine? I'm a bit confused by the fact that you call it a consequence of the Tecthulhu. An other possibility I thought of is that the short ingression of the Undine was necessary, since they were banished by both the Shapers and N'Zeer to allow their open warfare over the human mind. Maybe the Undine needed to do some of the procedure themselves, but I do think it would be a bit weird. I hope we'll learn more in the future.

I'm assuming the Ouroboros is the consequent of the activation of the Undine Tecthulhu, given its form change following the use of the dagger. You may be right, I'm not actually sure.

Now that Machina is here, i really wonder if the Tesselation was indeed a trojan. It seems to stick, the Undine have an affinity with XM constructs, and Machina and the Undine seem to operate on the same red frequency. But it would imply the Undine not only gained access to the Osiris universe but to the multiverse as a whole.

Nope, just a really long glyph sequence of commands for the Tessalation. Clear Shaper N'Zeer Impure XM Nourish Pure XM Liberate Human Mind Defend Osiris Share Shield Nemesis. Well at least we held up our end of the bargain with Nemesis as agreed.

No. you're definitely not alone. The Ingress storyline isn't really accessible to a majority of players. I've been playing for 4.5 years and would love to know what it's all about but they obfuscate it to the point that nobody really understands. It's a real buzzkill. :( I watched the Ingress anime last year and learned more in a day than I'd learned in the previous 3 years of the game. It doesn't really take much to get it right.
