I’m so glad I stumbled onto this video! I’ve wanted a road glide for 8 years! Bought a 14 street glide and have been trying to figure out how to convert. I also have helibars

I've been watching the process of this. And I do have to say, 1 your putting out some great videos on how to do it. 2 I think you're a little crazy for doing it. Not that I think it's a bad idea because I think it's a great idea. Maby because it's a BIG job. Not just a quick weekend one. I also have to say you have a lot of guts. It turned out very nice. Great job. I keep telling myself I want to do it to my street glide but I'm to scared to try it. Much respect to you guys.

I appreciate that! You're right, it's not a weekend job. Thanks for watching.

Next episode of assembly coming? Finding this very interesting as I want to make a swap but am looking at it for an old Yamaha cruiser I have, have an 18 Electra Glide so the batwing fairing is done but the old Yamaha is a toy and would love to do this to it.

Yes, the episodes are coming once a week on Tuesdays. There are three more on the way. I'm not familiar with Yamaha bikes, so I don't know what's possible there.

Tim Snyder the batwing fairing was fairly simple after I made adjustments to the harley brackets, the road glide fairing will take some more thinking but with some bracket reconfiguring it should be good. Your video on your swap gave me the idea as this is my play bike now. Very informative video thanks for posting this series

@moto tim.. Question.. when putting this bracket on did the frame already have the holes for you to slide the bolts through? Or was something there that got removed for you to use the holes?
@EZMotoTim4 жыл бұрын
The holes are in the neck and were revealed when I removed the Bat Wind radio bracket.

I just priced everything out, using eBay as much as possible about $3000 plus painting
