I really enjoy watching the videos you make! It started as just watching because I liked the topics, but I have really found myself thinking and learning new ideas and perspectives! I was not good at initiating, I was afraid of being the stereotypical guy of "all you think about is sex". Im sure that was hurtful to my ex wife. The things im taking away from these videos now, are things that I know will improve the next relationship, but I still have so many fears. Im struggling with how to transition to a new sexual partner/relationship. Its been so long since Ive dated, let alone try to start a serious relationship. I feel like Im a pretty great guy, but finding the right woman for me is really tough. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I just stumbled upon this video, and maybe you answer my question in a later video, but my experience is that I’ve initiated in countless ways and countless times for 26 years now. And 9 times out of 10 I hear either “Later” or plain “No, not interested”. I essentially stopped initiating years ago. What do you do when your wife says that 99% of the time?

I would ask her why. A lot of women do 99% of the work around the house and when a guy initiates it’s like “I have no time or interest in having sex with the person who feels no responsibility around the house.”

What about the responsibilities OUTSIDE the house? Those are just as important.

I think men get really upset that a woman isn’t interested in their initiating but they never really ask her why and sometimes she doesn’t honestly answer. Most women I know say they usually decline because their partner isn’t helping her with the family/household workload. He wants to do nothing to lighten her load and when he initiates it’s just adding another “task.”
