Revo is definitely possible for endgame pvm. I’m revo basics minus stuns and base for all bosses w t90 gear. Sometimes it gets intense to the point where I have to manual everything for 20-30s but it’s nice to not worry about every basic when dealing w mechanics, prayer flicking etc.

Bad habit: Not using auras because i want to same them for more important boss fights. Even if i play only for an hour i do not use them

PLEASE make a revolution end game bossing video. I'm struggling with dps on revo my basics and I'm manually triggering my thresholds and ultimates with mage. I don't have nearly quite everything, like EoF or limitless, or dw weapons... but I feel like I've hit a wall and manual sounds like the answer, but is a huge learning curve for me. Sincerely, a maxed cmbt player who can't kill nex or HM kerapac.

They should give araxxors web shield something like a scream text above rax before he starts the attack so we can click off before he does it and have an arrow icon on the mirrorback spiders so we know where it is and when it spawns.

The mirrorback/pulsing spider always spawns at the same time on path one. (3rd spawn on the first wave of minons, 2nd spawn on the second wave and first spawn on the third wave) Also them being hard to spot is part of the design of the boss pointing them out would make it pointless.

@@Quasarcool I dunno, it seems more like a nuisance than a mechanic since mechanics imply that you can somehow react to the mechanics with an ability but in terms of mirrorbacks you are just left clicking the screen like crazy trying to find it.

@@zukodude487987 the mirror back spawns at specific times as mentioned above. You are ment to be counting the spawns, stopping your attacks(which was recently made super easy with the cease abilitiy) and positioning your camera at the angle with the best view before it spawns. It has predictable spawn timing. Learning to count auto attacks and minon spawns is a critical skill when it comes to dealing with rax. It is not random they spawn at the same time everytime as long as you are counting. Allowing you to easily deal with them. Making you have to look around for them a tiny bit may be a nuisance but pointing them out would make the skill they are designed to test( keeping track of auto attacks/minon spawns) pointless

@@zukodude487987 there have been various ways to stop attacking since 2014, cease simply made it easier. The mirrorback only punish you for having lack of awareness of where the boss is in its rotation. It the same reasoning why on HM vorago the reflect is no longer pointed out. To see if you are paying attention and counting where the boss is in its rotation. Pointing them out removes that "test" of skill do you see what I'm saying?

PRO tip!!!! Do warband!!! It takes 10 minutes a day. 3 runs. Each runs over 120k xp. Herblore, Smithing, Farming, Mining, Construction. 360k xp a day is 3.6m in 10 days. All I do is take wildy sword and 5 food. If you die, you don’t lose anything. It’s a very OP minigame. I got 99-120 herblore and farming there. As a daily passive XP!!!

Player owned farms is 100% BUSTED for farming XP also the beehives at the POF is great XP for lower levels. As an ironman i've got 92 farming in 3 months

@@oddcheeze yeah thats what I do :) thresh/ult/specs and stuns are all manual. Occasionally I manually trigger a basic due to synergies. (I.E after needle strike, I might auto cast snipe for that sweet 7%)

Omg yes please!!! Please make a video about end game (ESPECIALLY mid-game) bossing using revolution, demonstrating tips and tricks for when people don't have different buyables and abilities unlocked (no praesul prayers, billion dollar weapons, grico, gbarge, limitless, etc) and are ready to get into pvm but still rely on revo for the most part, but can do intro-thresholds on demand

a good revo bar for range people have been asking for: dazing shot/needle strike(1), grico(2) (skip if u dont have) corruption shot(3), fragmentation shot(4), snapshot (a), rapid fire (s) snipe (5) piercing shot (6). at this point all other thresholds like shadow tendrils(d), bombardment(g), eof(f), salt in the wound(h), and even stuns are keybinded and must be manually pressed. the reason i have snapshot and rapid fire in my revolution rotation is so if i have to stop focusing on damage and focus on boss mechanics (ambi last phase as an example) i can still have moderate damage while focusing on mechanics and pray switches. by no means is this the most optimal op dps revo however it will allow anyone to deal decent damage while bossing and allows others to focus on mechanics more than their own dps. my raksha kill times are close to 4 mins average, and it just works for me

I get that we should move away from Revo++... but is it that bad to use Revo ++ for slayer only? I still use revo for basics when doing PVM, but can't be assed to manually do thresholds and ults when slaying.

I use Rev for Basics and Thresholds.. but keybind Ultis, Defences etc. Set my bar up to give me decent DPS. It works for me

cease is incredibly useful for the web attack. I don't have sgb, but I used to find I'd rapidfire with fleeting boots and clicking off the web was impossible!

Revo+ is very good even at high end bosses. I’m most certainly not a pro, but I am able to solo ambassador, raksha, 300% Araxxor, etc. I have everything keybinded, including prayers, food, familiar scroll. I manually cast thresholds, ultimates, defensives. So the only things in revo are basics. I even manually cast those at times. This system allows you to focus on the fight when it gets hectic, while still doing damage and building adren. This setup allows me to 1 cycle ambassador, full manual is not needed!

The rev ++ is exactly what i use and cant do bossing at all, got t92 and all good stuff but still cant figure out the combat, would love a video on how to switch to rev like whst are threasholds and others that need to be key bind and how to even key bind?? They only items i need for golde nreaper is kera staff aod chest 13k kc and vitalis for rago there is 100% no need to bee full m as needed for endgame pvm 100% is worth more to learn full m but you can legit do any boss with all styles and all on revo

I have revolution on but im always activating abilities 60% of the time. I am destroying gw2 right now and manually activating abilities is whats making it a breeze with key binds and mouse clicks.

I restarted the game, having a maxed ironman already, made another ironman, where I don't really just max, but I want to open up invention first, and "rush" for luck 4 and grace of elves. Then play for fun, maxing can be fun, but actually it's a bad chore QQ.

lamp rcing... lolz and make sure to get to reaper assignments as prick as possible... then when extra gp can be spent on gathering skills and others, your xp rates will increase with things like upgraded items and crystal chinchillas

I use revo for basics and sometimes will manually trigger some (for example, combust after wrack and ruin), and will most likely never go full manual. Spamming a key 5 times to make sure an ability fires, and for every ability is just not fun to me. 80 apm is enough and I'll never get the 300 apm of lucario. Also, my mouse with 6 mouse buttons makes such a huge difference in this game, with freedom, anticipate, surge and level 95 prayers all at the same place.

Just incase you've never considered it, using shift, alt, and ctrl modifiers turns those 6 mouse buttons into 24 different keybinds. Maybe even combine the modifiers too, to keybind ctrl+shift+button etc.

Just tested and you cant use two modifiers (shift + ctrl) for example. but yeah using shift and ctrl and alt + something else is so good.

My bad habit is when I do wilderness slayer I'll be attentive for the first couple of hours but the moment I get comfortable and start treating it like normal slayer I get ambushed and killed instantly. I'm never attacked when I'm paying attention. I should reduce the amount of consecutive time I spent there to make sure I am alert.

Same for regular vuln rax has an overload like effect that negate most debuffs as well .

POF is godly. Passive money via breeding, good way to get super potion materials, and it supports the F2P community to do the blessed work of fishing for tuna. If there's any tuna farmers in f2p out there, thank you for feeding my dragons. If only spiders were less picky. Also, having certain animals in pins with totems gives bonuses based on how many pins have the same animal. If your not doing POF, your missing out big time.

Instead of counting rax attacks, you can count your own. Every time you throw that fifth ability, he should do a special. If you have just gotten the web attack, then you can for sure anticipate on your 4th ability. If he has not web shielded and you run the risk of suicide, I strongly suggest you try to get a nice heal. I melee, so I do this by using a quake / cleave just a few sq away and then just res :) When I realized this, ive never had a problem with rax since :)

ive been playing for almost 20 years and i just now with this video realized you can set it to do auto abilities.... LMAO. I "quit" (ha funny.. nobody quits rs) right when EOC was being released. PoF is crazy xp. I had 80 farming and got to 92 in a week. Just do it once a day, and you'll see how crazy the xp is. I'm doing black dragons to 99 farming. It's all about a mind set for those awful slow skills. Rc and Farm are the worst, but now looking at those, farming doesn't seem bad at all. Maikru has a good pof guide.

@@Astrovite The only way I know is, using the wild skull and running to the Abyss teleport to make blood runes. There's a setup/ preset for it. But even using that, I still hate rc.

@@Astrovite RC is actually crazy xp/hr and GP/hr. You just want the 2 RC relics so pouches don't degrade and abyssal gatestone. wilderness sword , excalibur with mobile. Do bloods with power burst, then do 2-4 runs to astral alter, you need either wicked hood teleports or astral tabs from runespan. Use 2 presets, 1 for bloods and 1 for astrals. The reason you do astrals after the blood run is because it's faster and you get a buff for ~60s that will still allow for the thread. Combined with urns (don't take enhancer to wilderness) it's like 500k+ xp/hr and 10m+ gp/hr depending on prices at 90+. You will need runespan points but I just buy them from the traveling merchant.
