What’s the best filler for deep injections? On the bones,especially for lifting the jowls by putting it on the bone right over the masseter muscle? And for deep injection on the chin bone for protection? I tried Restylane Lyft and Restylane Defyne earlier,but I’m not a big fan of Galderma products. So I want to try Juvederm Voluma for those areas(MD codes),what’s your opinion about Voluma? Its G prime is lower than Restylane Lyft but the quality is much better,especially the VYCROSS™ technology. Please give your opinion.

wouldn't using the cannula along the jawline be only a superficial injection and hence not keep the filler 'fixed' to the bone when he opens his mouth wide?

Dr. Pearce, do you really like the results here yourself? If someone showed you this what would you think (supposing you weren't the one to do it). I mean, come on, let's be honest. I hope you didn't charge this patient. With all due respect, you're a wonderful lecturer and academical. But you literally need a microscope here to see any change. I'm sorry but this is not a good jawline contouring result at all.

Yes I do like them, and so does the patient, and yes he paid. Most people don't like the extreme differences, this patient is actually quite well known and does regular TV work which makes extremes a really bad idea. Although I must say I changed my photography lighting as it is too much in front instead of from above the eyeline which does hide contours.
