*This is not a dig at you Ben. I actually rate what your doing a lot* How about you speak about the corruption in the police force? The institutionalised racism? Sexual abuse? Amount of police officers reported for domestic abuse and then nothing happens? Where I live you see it daily from a police force failing in every department. Police officers who believe they are above the law. Stripping clothes off vulnerable young people claiming it’s in there best interests and leaving them naked in a cell. Don’t care how you want to justify this. Male officers present whilst a young girl has all her dignity and respect taken away by those who are meant to protect us. No doubt you did an extremely hard job Ben, but so do a lot of us. Personally I don’t think public/police relationships will get any better until we hear more serving/retired police officers speaking about the wrongs the police do every single day I have seen so much violence and aggression from the police where I live I do not trust anyone in that uniform anymore. How do you think I should address this Ben? I know not all officers are bad and in fact it is a small minority. But then why aren’t all the decent officers out there putting a stop to this behaviour, instead they cover for each other and do not turn up to court.

It's even worse for the police now because as soon as they approach anyone, the public pull out their phones & antagonise the police officers, trying to make the poor officers look like the bad guys & belittle them, then the videos are posted straight away onto Facebook, Twitter, KZbin etc for likes. It's absolutely disgusting! I'm sick of seeing these videos posted all the time trying to make the police look bad & the comments are always disgusting aswell. It really boils my blood!

@@Apricot101 There is nothing wrong with recording the police to ensure a stop is lawful and to prevent police harassment. Personally I thought his front 3 teeth where a fair exchange. I hasten to add this was a civil war situation in the Former Republic of Yugoslavia and bad things where happening right there and then. #warzones Peace Charlie 🇬🇧

I was lucky enough to come across a brilliant chiropractor a few years back.i was in bad shape and never realised how much toll had been taken on my body.she said that any car accident you're involved in,your body stores the energy from it and converts it to constant tension and misalignment in your limbs and torso.people, without realising, learn to adjust and live around this tension.see when its all released from your body again, the feeling is the best.the human body is such a complex thing that we defo take for granted.

Dear Ben, I am a very big Dutch fan ,of Police Interceptors, and all New Traffic Cops. And i "know" you from your fantastic work as a cop. I saw your Video with your story about The Job That Broke Me. And i was so emotional about that story. It's so human ,i say to you, that i hope your heavy back pack is now more emthy, and you don't have to shame to show your feelings or emotions. I think it's so strong from you !!! The job of a police man or woman is now a days so difficult, because there is no more repect for what you are doing, also here in the Netherlands there is much aggression against our police. Dear Ben, i wish you so much understanding and love for what you are and do at the moment. You deserve that for all you did and do. And i would order your book, but it's not easy from here. I must say, that the voice over of Police Interceptors, is so funny, he makes me smile with his commentary. I know you have many followers, but i will ask you,can we stay in touch, i would like that very much, because i also have struggle with emotions, and maby we can talk about things, as normal life and what's going on. I wish i could help you, you know? Not everybody can be a police officer in general but even more there ! For the first time of my life I had to call the police I was chased by a man after work (BD9) and without you and your team the city will be a real chaos! You MUST be PROUD for every scares because they will always remind you where you are from but not where you are going. You are young and you can do amazing things ! I wish the Court would be more supportive to Police officer work instead of giving a lenient sentence. Keep going et MERCI POUR TOUT (from a French women). I spent all my XMAS in France watching "police interceptors" with my family even if they don't understand a single word in English ;) ;)

Hi Ben. Your stories and the insight into your life and career is eye opening. The public do need to understand a police officer is another human being. To speak about mental health and your emotions to strangers is very brave and strong of you. I salute you mate. Would you do a video on what you expected from your job when you started 19 years ago and how you feel now in depth? I hope you are enjoying retirement and having good quality time with your family. Keep safe and take care.

Thanx for sharing - people don’t realise how many injuries police pick up during their careers - as for the tv 📺 out the window - I’m a rock star ⭐️ and I’ve thrown lots of tv’s out of windows to more than make up for your lack of Ben. In fact after a gig in Brighton I was so ridiculously drunk I lurched a portable at the hotel window (too drunk to open it) but instead of crashing thru the window and cascading several floors to the ground - it bounced off the glass, hit me in the face and chipped a tooth 🦷 and practically knocked me out ! While my band mate (who I’d woken up with drunken shouting - whilst the hotel manager had helped me to my room as we both sang Norwegian Wood at the top of voices - great chap) was going “What are you doing ??” Sorry Phil !Next day I had a sore head swollen face and a hangover I’ll never forget ! Lol. Fortunately I rarely drink these days and never too much because I now cannot stand being drunk - no point as been there done that. Am wading thru all your vids and am gobsmacked by how much you’ve been thru. You enjoy your early retirement Ben - because you’ve more than contributed to keeping the place safe - absolutely ! Cheers 🥂. Rx

Hi Ben 🙂 I came across your videos on KZbin today. I didn't even realise that you'd retired from the police force. I have watched your videos on here & I've bought your book in Kindle edition tonight (I didnt want to wait for the paperback to be delivered)! I'm going to start reading it tonight. I hope you are doing ok Ben.

@@BenPearson1965 good on ya for opening up about your experiences. I’m someone who’s been on the wrong side of the law and I’ve disliked the police for years due too my experience with them hearing story’s of what you guys deal with has helped me let go of the hatred a little along with dealing with some decent officers recently

As someone who drivers a modified car admittedly with a decat I must admit I am rather wary of traffic officers and traffic cars. Yes, once or twice I’ve been pulled for stupid things like having my fog lights on in reduced visibility and heavy rain but “the visibility wasn’t less than 100m”.. I lost respect for the traffic units. But, this is the side I don’t see and I must admit you have really opened my eyes and made me respect the job you do. As someone who had been victim to buying a cloned car for cash after doing hpi checks etc and loosing £6000 to never see again. Thank you for your efforts Ben and thank you for opening my eyes and making me less ignorant to traffic police.

Another top vid Ben, love hearing your tales from the other side of the line now. You can be much more candid and its a very refreshing take on policing in the UK. You've not got to put on any airs or keep composure for the cameras because you're not beholden to disclosure and all that. Can't wait for more! :)
