Don't really get all the hate for Mortal Kombat vs DC, it wasn't a BAD game per say it still fuctioned fine. It did lead us to the rebooted Mortal Kombat AND Mortal Kombat X and it gave us the Injustice series with some sick comics.

The story was good, but the gameplay was ass in a hand basket. The falling combat and struggling through walls was pretty cool, but the gameplay was so sluggish it didn't accompany the game's frequent bursts of speed. On top of that, the content was fairly limited (in comparison to the MK games prior), the fatalities and most of the "heroic brutalities" were lacking (Joker and Deathstroke had better fatalities than most MK characters in the game, how does that happen?) and the combo system was wretched. Doesn't help that the game has such a small roster too, there were so many characters from both sides to get in. Not like MK or DC Comics for that matter have little to pick from. Overall, just a disappointment.

I'm pretty sure that Sub-Zero's intentions are to either return to earth realm and defend it or stay in the DCU realm seeking answers for his presence there. If he believes that his presence in the DCU realm is required then he understands that its not a coincidence but more so of fate. (Not a Dr. Fate reference) While he is stationed in the DCU realm he/they (as mentioned) must prepare for "Dark Magic. " I'm assuming that this is a reference to Dark Khan from one of the FGC from Netheralm Studios, Mortal Kombat Vs. DC Universe. Continuing on the discussion, I'm not to sure if this is a reference directly to that character (I could be wrong), but I am just making this assumption because that was the last game that in which involved a mutual enemy of the two universes. In which, brought the two universes together. But In my opinion, the dialogue can be more than just references but more so of hints towards there next game. ;-) -And yes I have noticed the video title and of course it's going to involve references in which are shown in the video.
