Nubi Dangerfield. Originally he came from a planet called Bryak and after a voyage in space, he came back to find everybody dead from a plague. He then attempt to get people from other planets in shrunken cities (like Kandor from Kryton) to repopulate Bryak, where he could rule them. But that's like his very first origin story.

It is a Greek word meaning Awakening or Unveiling. Armageddon or Ragnarok are terms used to describe the end days, but not Apocalypse

On a side note, I don't think the Injustice universe bases itself on the N52. It has elements from it, but if you pay attention, you see that most of it's characters and the relationships among themselves are straight out of New Earth, or at least were, before Metropolis was destroyed, with the exception of Lex Luthor being Superman's best friend in the Injustice Universe (which was a bit of a wink to Superman: Birthright by Mark Waid).

Yeah Injustice at best just took the costumes and a few origins (mainly Wonder Woman) everything else is basically just the post crisis DC universe which isnt a big surprise the current DCU has only been around for 6 years (or 2 if we count when the first Injustice game came out) VS Post cirsis which has over 25+ years worth of stories,characters and so on to work with.
