Injustice (2021) A Christian Perspective

I haven't played the game or read the comic, so I'm coming at this fresh! One of the things I liked about this movie, it truly shows he importance of guarding your heart. Bitterness, vengeance, and unforgiveness poison everything.

Great Review as always Durban! My first exposure of a corrupt superman, was Tom welling from Smallville. Whether it's him using Red-K , Jor el taking control over Clark with that "S" burned on his chest", and I would even bring up the time when that sleazy cop was blackmailing Clark to expose his identity. Seeing Clark being so angry, gave me goosebumps. Ahhh good times! ☺👍

Evil Superman only works if it's done occasionally. We kinda need Superman to be a picture of optimism & a bright light in the darkness. That's the essence of what we love of Superman. However, I don't blame Superman for going off the deep end at the hands of the Joker. Joker can have that effect on anyone. He tried to do the same thing to Commissioner Gordon & Batman. That's why Joker is such an effective villain. I'd recommend Look, Up In The Sky: The History Of Superman. It's a fascinating documentary from 2006.

Hello from BARBADOS!! I love your shirt, Chris! I really enjoyed this movie, but yes, it was dark- murder, mayhem & manipulation. Everybody processes grief differently, yes, but we have to be careful to do it in a healthy way, so that we don't become like Superman-detrimental to others around us.

It’s getting rather tired at this point with evil Superman. Been done to death. Feels like it goes against the character. I would prefer a true blue real Superman now.

I really wanted to like this movie I really did. But it felt very rushed. From a guy who read all 7 years of the graphic novels. This should of been a tv series or a 7 part mini series. It wasn't bad more like a 6/10. Just because is was a missed opportunity. Another great review man. Any chance you can ever review the show Gotham?

Durban, I highly recommend the Injustice comics by Tom Taylor. It’s much better storytelling then this movie.
