yeah it’s a free tattoo, but they’re getting it from people that are fighting for the title of ink master??? if they were THAT good that they think they can take the title, then there shouldn’t be a rookie tattoo on anyone’s body 😭😭

don't forget done well many tattoos on the show would be done over weeks to make sure the tattoo artist can take their time and do it well as to make sure the skin is healing well, especially with something large or really detailed, and sure they don't just have the slotted 6 or so hrs they say, but they still really don't get a lot, like 8-10hrs maybe if the hosts say 6hrs, but that's still not a lot, in an environment brewed for drama. Plus, I'm kind of thinking they throw some rookie ones in for the hell of it since some big names might not want to associate with the show or don't want the same people constantly, so throwing a few rookies, adds to numbers and gives them at least 1 tattoo to rip at now and then, it is sad, but it is also drama, which is what is wanted for the show.

If you’re picky, don’t throw your chances in the air by coming onto a stressful competition with a random tattoo artist that you don’t even know what their best work looks like or what they specialize in.

I know. If you want a great tattoo, go to a real artist and SPEND MONEY! You know what they say, you get what you pay for. And usually the people on that show who get free tattoos end up with a shitty one and then they bitch to their artist about how bad it is. Scripted or not it is ridiculous.

@@artisticalex1206 the other thing that I find ridiculous is they always want a tattoo that would cost thousands in a good shop. With lots of details and in a place that is really going to hurt sometimes it's their first tattoo and they want it in the armpit, ribs, face ect or something that is going to take longer than the artist has time for they don't listen and think they know everything !!

And even the people who gives in terrible tattoos, I hate the way they react when they don't win tattoo of the day, instead of being happy for the next person and trying to do better in their own work, they shake their heads and be a sore loser 👎🏻 they got very dirty hearts and it shows in their tattoos that's why they they don't make it to the top

Right. There’s a difference between illustrative portrait and portrait, which is what people usually look to get. Dani followed the direction. Chris was great but (I don’t want to say it’s a cop out) it does make something like a military piece easier to grasp.
