Good review, nice to see you back on here. For scheduling or sg based temp changes ispindel or tilt and brewpiless can work well but definitely not an out of the box setup. Have dropped you a message on untapped about Wi-fi to garage issue

Nice one, I agree an overide on the audio alarm would be nice, looking at the app i would say they have more products planned, I set my first one up direct to the hub and had to reinstall when i moved it to the shed as it only picked up repeater, second unit i installed on my review, on a different phone with a fresh install and it saved and added my original 308. cheers

Nice one Grant cracking review of a brilliant bit of kit, shame about the distance for the WiFi. I've a smart plug I could use that just incase, so I can turn the power off if needed. I use my probe in a bottle of starsan when fermenting, you use your stuck to the side of fv which is best.

Nice review mate. Bummer about the distance being out of range of the router at your parents. When I had the temperature controller in my shed, it was on the outer limits of my router. Probably between 15-20 metres between router and controller. That's with the signal going through about 4 or 5 walls. A more powerful router or an extender would be the way to go, as you say. Cheers
