I feel the exact same way that you do about Ralph breaks the internet, but for me, it’s trolls band together, and the second trolls movie, I forgot what it’s called. There’s way too many plot holes, like with viva getting lost during the escape and the tiny diamonds thing isn’t cute, never was, they literally were TRIPPING BALLS in one scene. The second one was mid, I still didn’t like it. They added the string thing just like, pulled it out of their @ss, but at least they showed coopers family. The third one literally just ignored the fact that other trolls species exist in that universe. I think that Disney , Pixar, universal, etc are just losing imagination for a new movie, so they’re just making bad sequels and prequels for old movies, trying to bank on the past success. I DESPISE the third trolls movie with all my being, the second one, eh, it wasn’t as good as the first, but at least they explained cooper and why he’s the only quadrupedal troll. The third one just tried to add on. Also, after Branch’s brothers left, he was staying with his grandma, then she died, he turned gray. When did he have time to join this next group??? Sometime that happened after he met poppy, otherwise he wouldn’t be singing, but also poppy didn’t know about it??? Also, BRANCH WAS GRAY IN THE THIRD MOVIE 😡

Take this from someone close to 40 with a ton of life-experience: Yes. Be cringe. Make self-inserts. Do it! It's good for you. Genuinely. Or, make what I like to call Selfie-OCs. They don't have to be inserted into any one thing in particular, just be a representation of yourself. It is a *fantastic* way to get to know yourself better, sometimes in surprising ways. I can tell you, from the bottom of my heart, that working on selfie-OCs have helped me sort out more shit than years of actual therapy. No joke. It's why I've been telling people for *years* that they should make selfie-OCs, and why I've had several of them myself. Especially if you're struggling with figuring yourself out. It truly helps. So, three thumbs up for this video, and the general message. Keep at it!

One of the reasons I want to get better at drawing is so i can be that person who posts really cool art and you're like oh what's that and then it has the exact story that a beginner artist would be put into a cringe compilation for. It feels so rewarding to me when I see really good artists post the most cringe things and then see all these people praise it and know, just know, that they are currently forced to praise something they would have bullied some poor 12 year old kid over. You have to admit it now. You have to admit it was never about the cringe factor, you were always just bullying beginner artists.

Your little thing with fix-it felix is adorable. Sometimes characters just resonate with us that way. And selfshipping can be common and accepted in fandoms sometimes. Example dca fandom! You can see y/n or self inserts being with Sun, Moon or Eclipse. In platonic, romantic or familia way. Even if this fandom is sub fandom, people don't care and enjoy it and it's so refreshing compare to the "sans is mine" epidemic that happend a few years ago. YAY, I CAN BE CRINGE HERE. So, my FNAF AU is kinda simple, but i love it: The originals and the Toy animatronics have been moved to a new location, which now combines fun for adults And for parents. The restaurant has two floors, the first one has three stages, a ballpit, an entire play area, a fast food stand with pizza and a few tables. The second floor has a cafe and a library, because of course it does. Inbetween the floors there is a door that leads to the animatronics' charging stations. My OC(has light-blue short hair, bunny ears and wears a fifties style dress, that's also light blue. She's friends with Chica(the original, not the Toy), Marionette, Bonnie, Foxy and Afton. ) is the first humanoid robot Afton has tried to make, she's a bit faulty, stutters and starts glitching when it gets too loud. The other animatronics are all also anime girls and boys, who are technically created before my OC, but their humanoid outer shells have been made after her, because the kiddos loved the human robots. The animatronics are also coded to have realistic personalities, but they are Not sentient(this is a Detroit: Become Human thing, even though at the time i didn't know what that was, the concept of my animatronics were pretty much the same as androids). Most of them spend their time on the first floor, entertaing kids, but Mange is usuakky found in the library and Marionette(who is not humanoid) has a dedicated dark room for her Shadow Puppet and Normal Puppet Shows. The basic plot was that my OC was rented to be a babysitter to a disabled girl whose house was right across the pizzeria. Her mother and her used to come here often before the classics' and toys' remodeling, and my OC was the sole caretaker whom could help the little girl in her wheelchair get to the second floor. When the animatronics were remodeled, however, the mother and her daughter stopped coming and only after a year or two decided to start renting my OC. The moment she became sentient was when Afton was going to hit the girl with his car(in broad daylight) and drag her to an alley to make it look like she crashed into a wall and fell into a ton of glass. My OC stopped his car with her own hands, her bottom half got smashed to bits, but the girl survived. In the end, my OC was locked in the charging room after being scrapped for parts(now she looks like withered bonnie. guess who my favorite animatronic was), and when she woke up she was terrified of her glitching vision and broken legs. The Withered animatronic(who were locked in a different service room on the first floor(some kids Did stumble into there to get scarred for life)) then broke the door open and my OC swore revenge on Afton for leaving her behind. I honestly have no idea why, but usually my OCs have some kind of disability, be it physical or mental. I'm not physically disabled myself, nor did i ever consume media with a ton of disabled characters, so this is just young me having fun by making everyone have problems. As per usual. So, basically, this is FNAF+D:BH(except i wasn't aware it was, nor am i sure it even existed at the time) with anime girls, because everyone drew fnaf humanisations that way. It's a shame I stopped making such bizzare worlds and OCs(Don't look at my pfp. Just don't. It's been like that since i created the channel. I just haven't gotten to changing it yet.) Also, the OCs name is Bonett(jk jk, this is one kf the nicknames, her real name has 19 characters in it. Yes, it's the same as the name of my channel.) Which was made before Sister Location ever came out. I hate Bonnet and everything she stole from me. When I decide to rewrite this AU, I'm going to personally insure that Bonnet and her stupid little brother get what they deserve.) All the Bonnie variations: *exist* Me: Aww that's my bestie, yay Bonnet: *exists* Me: I'm sending a nuclear weapon to your location as we speak. Edit: I must also add that i drew the pizzerias floor plan at the time. Because for some reason i absolutely adore drawing floorplans for everything ever. Anyway, I came here to say that I'm very glad i got to remember my old AU because of this video. I'm also here to say that my favourite "cringe" thing to like is selfcest. I am completely obsessed with it. That's probably why when i got into Undertale i was disappointed at how different the Sanses were, to a point that they no longer felt like selfcest.

My most elaborate self-insert OC is for CW’s The Flash, where she is Cisco’s adoptive daughter from a future where Metahumans were criminalized and her bio mother was was forced to flee the city and leave her baby behind. A lot of stuff happens, everyone gets a healthy dose of trauma and it ends with Team Flash successfully changing the future but accidentally wiping her existence, bc that’s what CW’s The Flash would have done 🙏

i have one self insert that i just shove into every fandom i can think of (only exception is warrior cats, i have a separate sona that i use for that) she was originally an undertale oc, and that stuck for a while, at some point she was in a marvel/undertale crossover, another point they were in a bnha/undertale crossover. she’s been in atla, genshin, hsr, tmnt, hazbin hotel, pokemon, jjk and like- 50 million other fandoms they’ve been shoved into media where it doesn’t make any sense for her to be an angel but i keep her that way anyway because like hell am i changing them her current iteration is for tensura (it’s my favorite anime i love it so much it’s the only show i’ve watched in months i have a problem) her design just exists and i write her story around it to make her existence make sense with the canon lore

A self-insert I've been totally obssessing about recently is an MHA oc, she's called Hara Mireyu and she's shipped with Shigaraki Tomura. Her quirk is called absolute truth, and basically it gives her the power to know everything about someone/something (The more she uses it, the less she is able to know about herself and present events/basic things, it starts as forgetting recent events, confusing time or places, difficulty communicating, and in the long term she'll pretty much develop dementia :]). This is obviously a very op power, that can be used by people if they do it the right way, and that's exactly it. AFO is kind of searching for her, because having her quirk would be very useful to learn information about his enemies. Now for her backstory, you see, long ago the first person with the Absolute Truth was born, but once AFO got to know about that, the guy killed himself so that his quirk wouldn't be used by him. After that, this guy's family formed a cult, some very shady shit that involved a lot of relationship between cousins, all the best and most wholesome. After years of trial and error, Mireyu was born, and got the Absolute Truth, and everyone started treating her as a god and worshipping her and all. She wasn't allowed to leave the property of the cult (since afo couldn't find her), and was spoiled rotten, which led to her developing some very serious complexes that she should definetely be seeing a therapist about. The only two people she liked/could trust in the cult were Hara Masato, one of her brothers/cousins/the family tree is way too complicated to really know, and Hara Masayasu, or 'Father Masayasu', who, again, I can't really point out what he really was to Mireyu. Masato is like a big brother figure to her, he'd bring her stuff from the outside (since she couldn't have anything that wasn't from the cult) and influence her into rebbeling and all that, while Masayasu would take care of her, as the cult's priest. When Mireyu was 19, idk when in the anime timeline but around the occurences of the first season i guess, Mireyu went crazy mode and killed evryone in the cult (including Masayasu, Masato was the only survivor, but even he got killed a while after), and went to search around for her little boy crush, Shigaraki, who she knew since she was five solely from using her powers and had a kind of weird parasocial relationship with, and ever since then, she tags along with the l.o.v. even though she's in no one's side and just acts as an observer (I obviously didn't do this so she could have friendly moments with the heroes also, of course not, I'd never). I love my girl Mireyu :> Actually I was gonna stop over there, but no, have some more of my self-inserts/ocs! I have two Saiki K self-inserts, one of them having two versions. The first one Is Kobuyaso Konan, she's Aren's twin sister, and just like him, an ex-delinquent. She's a sweet, kind, bubbly school girl, but she also has anger issues and violent tendencies! She was (and still is) very hardcore, being feared by everyone who has some self respect (she has always looked cute and sweet tho), she has like, an intimidating aura, and she's like super super strong. Konan is shipped with Kaidou, cause I have the biggestcrush on that boy, he's so so so so so cute and sweet and lovely and adorable. And Konan feels the exact same. They're like, absolute girlboss x boyfailure, I LOVE it. They're always togther (often featuring Aren, they're like, absolute power trio). Konan defends Kaidou, Kaidou tells her about his dark backstory, she think he's a sweetheart and he feels appreciated, very sweet and healthy. I also have a very clear scenario in my head which I think is sooo sweet, in which they got to one of those festivals thingies together, and Konan goes around winning strength games and getting Shun the best prizes possible, and by the end of the day he goes and wins a little plushie for her and she's like, 'OMG THAT"S THE BEST THING ANYONE EVER GAVE ME', and they go home happy, Kaidou with ten giant plushies and Konan with just one small Chihuahua (obviously), and she has dozens of other plushies but the chihuahua becomes her most prized possession. The second one is Nemoto Kuura, and she's shipped with either of the Saiki brothers (therefore two versions). Kuura has psychic powers, except her only psychic power is that she can block psychic powers, so, unless she feels like it, Saiki can't hear thoughts, Aiura can't see her aura and Toritsuka wouldn't be able to see her (if she was a ghost). She has some speech impediments, so when she discovers that Saiki can hear thoughts, she decides to approach him, since speaking through telepathy is much easier. She acts very similarly to Kusuo, she's a bit more expressive tho, mainly when she's angry (Anger issues go brrrr). Another thing she features is the amazing combination of low self-esteem and high ego, and lots of family issues (Glass child with some sprinkles of neglect, except she's also neurodivergent and undiagonosed (putting the self in self-insert frfr)). She's a burnt out gifted kid and 'effortlessly smart', but wastes away by taking naps and being a competitve ah. She thinks Kusuo is a loser, and Kusuke is even worse, which is great considering that she ends up with one of them in the end. For voltron, I have a girl called Summer. She's a human with some altean ancestry sprinkled over just to spice things up. Summer is Keith's best friend, they've been together since they were kids, and Summer would do anything for him :]. Summer is an engineer, she actually wanted to be a pilot, but Keith is a pilot so she had to settle for something else. it's fine since she's good at it, tho. So, Summer is following Keith around everywhere, so when he's expelled (was he expelled? It's been so fucking long since I last wtached voltron) she goes with him, and then she helps him find the blue lion, and then she helps him when he goes out to get shiro, and then she goes with him and the group to space. Obviously, there are only five voltron lions, but for the sake of 'just because', i made a new one for Summer, the white lion, that's supposed to be a prototype to the main ones, an extra that isn't really used on voltron, why is that? Because she needs to feel left out, of course, for trauma and character development. So, feeling really out of it, Summer starts to wander off in space when she isn't fighting evil, and that's when she discovers a planet where multiple alien races from all around the universe come together, letting go of their rivalries, all in name of cage fighting, and she signs in, obviously. There she's known as 'The White Paladin', or just White, her identity is secret, and she wears a space suit with a dark visor that covers her face and blocks sound, so she never speaks. That suit came with the white lion, and she doesn't use it normally since she uses one that matches evryone else, so not even people who know the paladins can tell it's her. Also since her has sound isolation, she likes to blast music inside while fighting. She's super famous, since she's super strong. To everyone, she's a mysterious figure who alway wins and seems to relish in the fame and, but underneath, she's really just a decently silly gal who's trying to have some fun. Also, people think she's a guy, just because it adds some plot twists and shock once she finalli reveals her iddentity. Summer has three versions, for three s/o's. One is Keith, for friends to lovers, the other is James Griffin, for rivals/friend of rival to lovers, and the third one is another voltron oc which I'm still developing, who's a galra lady who also fights there, and her biggest goal (just like pretty much everyone there really) was to be able to defeat the great white paladin, just for that enemies to lovers Summer can also work as a standalone character, so that's great. As a fellow crazy who has read this and is now obsessed with your ocs. HARA IS COOL OMGGG. Her backstory is so interesting and I was reading like “what’s next” I ALSO LOVE YOUR OTHER OCS AND THEIR DYNAMIC :3 I also have a MHA oc, their name is Jamie Miyota and their quirk is kinda similar to yours!! It’s called Info dump and what it basically does is basically give the user the ability to gain information about the person they look at. This quirk cannot be deactivated and is on constantly so it’s extremely annoying. The information pops up on a glowing screen that only they can see, kinda like a pop up add or those annoyingly long descriptions of things that could easily be shorted. (Ex; 10ft brown bookshelf~~> 10ft dark oak wood structured with four 1inch screws with designer swirls that make an X shape for easily removal with study screwdriver…..ect ect ect) Hence the name info dump or information overload. To deal with this Jamie is always squinting and covers one eye so they only get surface level information instead of full detailed paragraphs. Their quirk highly strains their eyes and makes their quality of living TRASH (would end it all if I had this quirk). Since only one eye gives brief information (Ex; name, age, name of quirk and the heavily watered down description of it) using both eyes is over kill, giving them access to basically their whole life down to the moment they were conceived (op, I know). Though like I said it’s showed in loooonggg paragraphs and because of this they are naturally a fast reader! Another function of their quirk is called overdrive (very creative with names I know ;]) this function basically automatically happens when they’re in combat and shows only the important information they need in the heat of the moment (weaknesses, strengths, ect). Of course using this messes their eyes up and is extremely straining to do, it’s like staring directly into the sun (or in this case giant red letters telling you what to do). Their backstory is pretty simple, they were born in a loving household, her mom and dad both loved them dearly. Friends that they did eveything with, and just a very normal. That was until the day they got their quirk, at first, their parents were surprised and worried. Concerned that their child might live always in pain, not even able to be the social butterfly they used to be. Jamie, being the kindhearted sole they are, didn’t like seeing their parents look at them with such sad eyes so they decided to use their quirk to help them out a bit. Giving them a tip that one of their close friends had a history of gambling and was overall a price of crap. They thought if they show their parents how much they didn’t mind it, saying that their quirk was cool then they’ll all be happy again. WRONG, their parents took their actions the wrong way and decided to start taking advantage of them. Forcing Jamie to be a fortune teller to basically get big bank. They’ll use their quirk to get the information they need, gain their trust by telling them they can see their past present and future. (which obviously isn’t fully true. Jamie’s quirk only gives available information about someone based on the person they are when they see them. it updates every second) This resulting in an easy get rich scheme. Like I said, Jamie’s quirk is a BIGGG quality of life inconvenience so they didn’t even like using their quirk, but they felt obligated since it was their parents telling them too. It was basically emotional abuse and manipulation. (very creative backstory am I right, totally didn’t pull this out my monster infested basement.) After years of that, Jamie’s parents (That’s right, Jamie is broke) got extremely wealthy and started dipping their crusty toes into dangerous waters, illegal waters. Not only had the years of that turned them into toxic and messed up individuals, it made them extra dumb. Long story short they got caught by a pro hero and went into the SLAMER, but since they’re rich they got out fairly quick. Drunk on money and power, they did it, AGAIN, but this time they messed with the wrong people and got burned, literally, they got burned to death because Jamie gave them a fortune they didn’t like. The only reason Jamie survived was because Hawks was already tracking down the trail of trafficking and whatnot so he was in the area. So, now Jamie is scarred for life, having been used and abused by the people who’s supposed to protect them. Of course they think their parent’s deaths is their fault and vows to never tell a fortune again and kept the details to their quirk hidden. Sadly news of Jamie’s parents spread around and now everyone wanted a piece of this walking cash grab. (They inherited their parents money) So, sick of all the kidnap attempts and no one helping them, they decided to become a hero, just for the sole purpose of getting away from their former life. The idea of getting control of their quirk or perhaps finding someone to take it away being a close second. Almost none of my “self-inserts” actually ended up staying that way but I do have a Pokémon one: I originally designed her (Amber at the time because that was what I named my player characters then) around the time XY came out because I liked the character design options in that game as a gym leader in the Unova region. The idea was that she had all the eeveelutions and after you showed her your team she would pick whichever eevees countered it, with the amount of Pokémon scaled to how many teammates you had and difficulty tied to the number of badges. The gym consisted of puzzles based on each eeveelution, but I only really finished umbreon’s, which was a dark maze with pitfall traps that you had to avoid. Later on I ended up designing human forms for all her eevees and liked their personalities so much that I plopped them all into a high school au for a few years. The Pokémon were still Pokémon and belonged to Amber but they could shapeshift into human forms. She was basically considered their legal guardian even though they were all around the same age and attended the same classes. I stopped drawing Amber around the time I figured out I was trans (so 5-6 years ago give or take) and haven’t gone back to redesign him (or rename him) since then but he still rolls around in my head every so often. He lives on a big plot of land that acts as a sort of natural reserve/rehabilitation center for runaway/abandoned eevees where they go to to live and decide what they want to evolve into (or if they want to evolve at all) and some of them end up training to become support Pokémon. My current idea is to redesign him with the gym leader concept (because I honestly forgot how cool that idea was until I talked about it here) as a gym advertised around the theme of adaptability (adapting to the puzzles, adapting to an opponent who picked their team specifically to counter you, all sorts of adapting is required) while also continuing the trend of gym leaders having multiple jobs and have him also run the eevee reserve and sometimes working with support Pokémon groups because eeveelutions really like going into that field because it gives a lot of opportunities to work with people. I assume the gym is also on the reserve rather than in a town or city. (Now I have this really cute idea of little kids from the trainers school going on a field trip to the reserve and getting swarmed by a bunch of eevees.) (Whether my shapeshifting ‘vees stay remains to be seen.)

I made comics using bond paper and stapled them together. It was a three-part comic series. I didn't fully finish the third part, but I cherished the first two. The series was essentially a self-insert story based on *Miraculous Ladybug*, featuring romance, high school drama, and action. Unfortunately, I can't find it anymore. I had planned to continue the third part when I eventually located it, using my own style. Additionally, I created another two-part comic using folders, featuring self-insert characters inspired by my past friends. This comic was more angsty and aimed at an older audience, or as much as an 8-year-old could manage. I don't exactly remember the specific self-insert concept, but it had a superhero experiment trope. My friends helped with their character designs. After working on those projects, I started creating more comics, mostly one-shots. One of my early self-insert original characters (OC) was inspired by *Harry Potter*. He was based on my experiences coming to terms with my ADHD and autism, and he was a Slytherin pureblood. I ship him with Draco, and they're a super cute couple! (Sorry if this was a little long. I love watching people indulge in their self inserts, be it for shipping or otherwise. There's something just so fun about it that the love shows in the things these people create on it! The only bad eggs are when those people treat others horribly because others happen to ship themselves (or other characters) with the same fictional character. The "I'm the only one allowed to be with him, he's taken and mine alone!" thing. It's perfectly okay to indulge and it's always the coolest thing to do, so long you respect that your self insert is not everyone's first/only choice to ship with whatever character you are obsessed with.

I have an undertale OC that unironically shaped my future creativity. All the Undertale AU's that popped up during the surge of Undertale popularity really helped me enter the "to be cringe is to be free" mindset and was my first exposure to learning that people can just create stories about characters they like and also have stories about their own unique characters that may or may not interact with existing fandom characters. I had this preconceived notion that whenever someone created art it had to be wholly "original"/official and it couldn't be "cringe" or based off an existing fandom but having had an undertale oc (that I still use lmao) and undertale au story really helped me break out of that mindset. I have a BNHA oc (a girl that has no powers and uses her intelligence to make inventions, kinda like Batman but with no money and she makes all the gadgets herself), an Outlast OC, a Magnus Archive OC (girlfailure character that teaches monsters disguising as students), and a bunch of other OCs that aren't related to one specific fandom but are strongly influenced by my interests in this giant mesh of a yandere story. I really enjoy the free and indulgent nature of self inserts and they kinda motivate me to just have a lot of fun with them lol

DUDE HIS VOICE ACTOR IS LIKE ONE OF MY FAVORITES OF ALL TIME I LOVE LOVE LOVE JACK MCBRAYER SO MUCH I WISH THEY WOULD GIVE HIM MORE ROLES IN STUFF UGH KEEP SLAYING!!!!!!!!!!!!! and,,, while i'm here,,, one of my strangest (cringiest?) self-inserts was for the anime Akuma-Kun, and while i much prefer the original 1989 rendition, i really loved the rather peculiar continuity of the sequel it received in 2023, where the titular main character of the 1989 show did not age physically whatsoever since then and ended up adopting the (also titular) main character of the 2023 sequel and raising him as his SON despite having been in a 10yr old's body for like 40 years straight. i was like "hooly this is nuts?? where do they come up with this stuff??" and i was SOMEHOW then inspired to make a self-insert/OC who was a magical swarm of dust bunnies, a mage's servant who centuries ago told them to "wait" in a corner of his library, promptly forgotten about, and gained sentience/personality before one day being discovered by (the first) Akuma-Kun, who took the swarm in and raised them alongside his son (the second) Akuma-kun . that was months ago and i unfortunately fell out of the hyperfixation, largely due to the 1989 rendition not having an official sub nor a finished fansub, so i ran out of episodes to watch pretty quickly. and there was a major lack of english-speaking fans too, another nail in the coffin. but i had fun all by myself while it lasted!!!!

oh my gosh i love this character you made 🥺i can see them working in the movie/universe so well !!!!! what a great idea :D /gen i looove hearing about people's cringe ocs i genuinely have never found a single one "cringe" theyre all just so endearing to me. but when i think about sharing my cringe self inserts/ocs, im like "well everyone should share their cringe ocs. except for me of course because its weird when i do it" BUT I WILL SHARE MINE FOR THE SAKE OF SHARING CRINGE okay. _taking a deep breath_ when i was little i watched this minecraft roleplay series on youtube called Mystreet LMFAOOOOO and i looved all the characters so much so i decided to start rewatching it recently, only to suddenly be twelve chapters deep into a fanfiction that is at this point over 10k words long and all about a self insert character LMFAOAOOAOOO ive also been rewriting some of the plots just a little.. i am my younger self's hero and thats all that matters :,3 orz also even though its pretty much just a self insert i still use "y/n" LMAOAOOOOOO EVEN THOUGH I KNOW NOBODY WILL EVER READ IT ????? listen okay im opening up LMFAOOOOO

My first and only self insert was a My Hero Oc to ship with Tokoyami, her name was Zaram Masaki, and she and her story became a whole new and individual project on its own! She remains one of my favorite ocs and helped me learn a lot about myself

I have an sans undertale AU OC that I insert into EVERY FANDOM not just undertale BUT EVERY SINGLE FANDOM I WAS INTO, the idea was is that she traveled through universes to protect these worlds from a corruption that plagues all the universes. Literally she was my ultimate insert character and sometimes depending on how I would put her in universe I could build off it and make a completely new insert. ( i still use her today :3 )
