My full cartridges register as full but no ink will come out. It will not align. Cleaning print head does not help. Going to unplug and see if it solves problem. I can hear ink in cartridge and it reads full.

Yes, you should rinse the syringes with water after use.

Are the 93 interchangable with the 95 cartridge? If i take my 932 cartridge will it work in the printer that came with the 950?

Oooooh! I get it! You have to empty out the old ink in order to make sure you don't exceed the max capacity. If you didn't, you wouldn't know how many ml were when you began refilling.

However, so long as you refill before the cartridge runs dry, the printer will accept it and continue printing even while displaying an empty ink level.

Unfortunately, there is no way to do that. You can theoretically purchase and install a new chip with each refill, but that's very expensive and impractical.

I'm afraid that with the HP 932/933/950/951, there really is no reset solution on the market. The newer generations of HP inkjet chips posed quite a lot of trouble to the aftermarket chipmakers.

I found that by purchasing a second set of OEM cartridges that I will keep one set refilled on the shelf and when I replace the second oem cartridge I then use the first refilled oem cartridge then I will refill the second oem cartridge and shelve it until the first refilled oem cartridge gets low. Make sure not to let the cartridges run dry. This has worked nicely for my printer and the levels show as they should.

do original HP and counterfeit cartridges differ inside? because i have taken apart one counterfeit cartridge and i cannot see any ball valve inside in the holes. there isnt any valve at all. seems like the under pressure is holding the ink inside.... and i want to ask, if you refill a cartridge, the ink goes into the foil ink bag or into the space outside ink bag (you lnow there is an ink bag inside the plastic cartridge). my question might sound stupid but i have taken apart my cartridge and what i dont understand is that the hole which is connected to the printhead does not lead to the ink bag inside cartridge (it leads to space outside ink bag. like the ink should get somehow from the closed bag into the cartridge case outisde the ink bag). i cant understand because that looks impossible.

What to do when you need the setup cartridge refilled? You see, I got 2 OfficePro 8600 printers which uses 951 Ink. I'd been using only one over the years though. I recently took the other one out and finally started setting it up only to find out that one of the ink cartridges already dried up. Didn't know that I couldn't use a new one in the setup process. Is there a way to go about the setup process without the setup cartridge?

You absolutely need the "SETUP" cartridges from the box to start up a new printer. Your best bet at this point would be to contact HP.

Thanks I kept the ink because I have HP 60 that will use it. I ordered the right ink for the HP 933. I had three older cartridges that I filled and one works fine but two will not let me prime them. I am getting a vacuum. I did refill the ink cartridges in the printer and it worked fine.

If when priming as in 2:00, no ink comes out, then that cartridge should absolutely not be used, since sucking in this way is exactly what the printer will do to draw ink. Try jimmying the seal around a little bit with the tip in case it got locked up. You can also try starting the whole procedure over again from the beginning (emptying the cartridge, filling, priming). However, if your cartridges have sat unused for a year or longer, the sealing mechanism could be jammed up with dry ink and the cartridge may not be recoverable.

If the printer gives the "depleted cartridge" message it means that the cartridge went totally dry. Even when refilled, a cartridge that went totally dry will not be accepted. You will have no choice but to install a second cartridge into your printer. Then, you will be able to go back to your first one, if you wish.

You can refill as many times as you like. Just be sure to refill before the ink becomes depleted to avoid having to temporarily install a second cartridge.

Dye-based ink is absolutely not recommended for this series. The mixture of the original HP pigment ink with a dye ink can cause coagulation and printhead clogging.

Nothing bad happens, the ink won't even go in. But, if you try to force it in, you could break the cartridge bag. That's why we recommend keeping to the maximum fills prescribed in the video.

No, no ink goes into the bag, its air bag not an ink bag. Ink fills in side the cartridge not the air bag, Over fill and a small rectangle hole bleeds out the ink on side of cartridge below label
