You can select three or more stars before you spay. Then you can change the color of each one of the them, and the stars that were produced by them will also change color

Anyone looking for spray tool like me.... Select your object and tap Edit > Clone > Create Tiled Clones. That's the way to make multiple duplicates at once if you don't see your spray tool.

Brilliant - this has saved me hours of work!! Is there a way to set the controls so that the larger sprayed objects are nearer the centre of the pattern and the smaller ones nearer the edge please? Like a real spray can or airbrush?

I am so thankful for these videos, TJ! I enjoy learning and exploring graphic art software. Never learned it before. I love it! I like art so digital art is interesting! Just wondering if we can customize the tool bar like in MS Word? I couldn't see the spray tool in the tool bar, had to look it up online. Could you do a video on customizing ? I downloaded the latest version (September 2020), so it seems many functions are different than your videos as you made these videos in 2018. Thanks again, Blessings!

TJ clarify please. what is the difference between copy (ctl+C) and duplicate (Right click + Duplicate)..When I try 3 objects selected then ctrl +C doesn't copy but I can right click and duplicate but the image loses it opacity. What am I doing wrong?

Copy just copies to the clipboard. You'd then have to paste (Ctrl+V) it to have it show up in your document, Duplicate just does those 2 actions at once for you.

Additionally, duplicate places a copy directly over the object being copied. Pasting after copying will place the newly created copy under you cursor.

I cant find prevent over-lapping objects, my tools are setup differently, i have the newest version installed, what am i missing?

Hi Tyler. Make sure you have the 'spray tool' actually selected or the option won't appear (I had that problem at first). When it does, the option will be sitting along the same top bar as the 'rotaion, scale, scatter and focus' options are sitting. To the right of those are 5 little picture icons. The first one is a picture of an OPEN EYE, the second a CLOSED EYE, then a CIRCLE, Then the 'Prevent Overlapping' option which looks like a bunch of little blocks. Hope this helps you!!

Hey, you will see an option of Scale on the menu bar, right to Rotation. Give it a number, let say 60. Then try to spray and you will get different sizes
