Hi Adam, I have seen others describing the same "soft braking" behavior on V12. However, the solution may be in the app. I contacted Inmotion and there should be a setting just for that purpose since V1.2.22 of HMIC board. "Split Mode" offers a 0-100 dial to adjust how hard you want accelerations and braking only for V12. Higher this number, more explosive is the torque but it may compromise the range. V12 seems to be a very well thought vehicle with plenty of features and customization capabilities. 😄 Just an opinion: speed sensation is awesome but I would invite our community members to not highlight it too much. There is a worldwide regulation wave over personal electric vehicles that in many countries is already limiting them to 25 km/h or simply banning them from public roads. I love EUCs and I would like for them freedom and long life. Therefore, as you did it for many features I would highlight their portability, economy, long endurance, accessibility, lifespan, safety features etc rather than speed. Just an opinion. Thanks for your review, I'll be looking for the in-depth version.😉

Inmotion is the most advanced company of euc at the moment. All the cusomtomization you have on this board no other wheels deliver and thats more than just having speed and a good light. I agree in 100% what you say on this video the only thing that is just using it more is if you want that the wheel have some pedal deeping or not is up to settings with the pedal.sensibility plus the split ride mode ;)

I figured out a cool trick that seems to stop every wheel ive tried so far from wobbling at all. I just put opposite pressure on my feet, (ex: right foot on toes, left foot on heel,) and it prevents wobbles completely, accellerating, cruising, braking, and even after an unexpected bump. even tried it with high psi on the tire to sort of create a higher chance of it, and it just doesnt come through. it can also stop the wobbles if you weren't in position already, but i will say, the heavier the wheel, the quicker you have to react to the wooble with a higher amount of pressure in the heel, toe move, or the weight will continue to build up the wobble until you hit it with enough pressure.

the difference between acceleration and braking on the v12 is very interesting. I agree that acceleration is amazing, but braking is not as satisfying. I've ridden the V12 backwards, and acceleration/braking felt the same in that case too. The way you brake, I'd guess your feet must feel like they are going to slip forward - I do recommend spiked pedals/pedal inserts.

Wrong way I am glad to know you are enjoying your new wheel as much as you do...Your opinions are important to all of us. I have been searching for a good reliable wheel to own as a 2nd wheel. I have a girlfreind whom wants to do some riding with me but she it petite and the Sherman I own Is to bulky for her to handel safely. As I said I own a Vet. Sherm...it is my 1st wheel and it is a great wheel and in that is the problem...Where do you find something that is just as reliable, has the range, battery life, peddel clearance, is fun to ride and above all is as Indestructable in its construction as the Sherman was? It doesn't exist...and buying a 2nd Vet Sherm is no longer an option for any of us...So Im constantly looking threw U-tube to see when a new comparable wheel will be offered....your opinions are important as I said....No one wants to buy something that clearly has issues....like the Commander which has internal heating problems. So when your emotions have settel down....I would like to know...It is water proof? Is it as indestructable a wheel as a Sherman...How does it handel in different weather conditions, does it overheat? What about torque? What is the range and battery life you can expect from it in real life . The fact that it does not have good headlights and no light in the rear it already a safety issue for me....but I can overlook it for now in the quest for a wheel that is just as reliable as a Sherman AND fun to ride. (For her) and for me. I just don't wanna to deal with issues later on down the road...The wheels themselves are expensive enough. Thanks for reading🙄- my life story here 🤣

Hey Adam, do you think it's justified to buy V12 instead of KS16X? The price of V12 is almost 50%higher in my country, although, I have 1 year of experience with V8F. Just want something not too heavy to take it for work everyday, and want it to be able to go for something like at least 60-70km range. Speed above 40 is not required, as I mostly ride in the city, and there are not many opportunities to go that fast here.
