Wow the engineering behind this wheel is Superb. Makes me realize the engineering behind the new and old Begode/ Gotway wheels. I currently own a Mcm5 V2 and a Tesla T3 and I'm not even talking about their new Wheels which don't even have a body, there just batteries a wheel and not so Tastefully good to look at

I will take my blocky veteran patton where I can do a motor change with a total of 20 screws removed and only half of the wheel disassembled over any onion wheel regardless of looks.

Very nice video. Nitpicking: you may have o re-solder those pins after trimming (i.e. re-melt the tin) to avoid cracks you put in the solder by cutting, and cold-soldering effects due to mechanical stress.
@FinnBjerke2 жыл бұрын
soldering ??? Narh Is that really neccessary ?
@laurv83702 жыл бұрын
@@FinnBjerke I work in an electronics factory (designing electronics and writing firmware for the last 30years), where trimming the pins with a pliers or any scissoring device AFTER they went through the reflow oven or selective wave soldering machines, is absolutely forbidden, regardless of the fact that high currents are expected to flow there or not. Cutting the pins creates mechanical stress and cracks in the tin layer sandwiched between the copper layers (pin and the via hole, which are harder, tin in between is softer, like butter in comparison), and at least in theory, decreases the life time of the PCB assembly (PCBA). I don't know how detrimental is that in practice, maybe very less, but we had picky customers in the past who refused PCBAs because pins were trimmed after wave soldering. So, we do it before, and have special tooling and jigs to keep the components in the holes during the waving.

@@FinnBjerke Could you please, come back or do a video, when you receive the V12HT, telling us if it has this problem, or others? You have credibility, unlike the renowned KZbin EUC creators/salesmens. I need a reliable wheel max 30kg. Afraid to buy this one.

Great work, Kevin. Not much of an endorsement of InMotion’s Quality Control though, when the ‘new, improved’ motherboard has to be hand finished by the service people or end user/repairer, ‘proper’ QC would have them shipped from factory all prepared and ready just to replace, without need to trim the soldering joints, surely. A lot of work, with plenty room for issues to arise for the unwary!

I know paint in the neck for reseller . Just imagine if you have lots of this wheels instock. Also Inmotion has been inform about the long pin on the board. They are still shipping out boards due to not enough to go round.

Thank you for your video Uncle. Now I know how to fix my V12 HT. Only thing is, my button to stop the wheel from spinning, so you can take it up stairs etc stopped working. I have to fix that problem because it's a pain to turn my whole wheel off to transport it upstairs with all my deliveries on my back ( I deliver Uber Eats ). Do you know how to fix that spinkill button problem?

Yikes, it's a nightmare of wires! Makes the s22 and master look way more appealing. I hope you don't have to risk blowing the board when swapping the tire. Thanks for the video tho.

I had my v12 for only a month and have a problem saying the battery is damaged and it may cause issues, the balance is off also when I turn it on. Opened it up to about a quarter in the video to see if it was anything obvious but I don’t know what I’m doing too complicated. Going to close it all back up and have to wait to send it back and get a new one or come back when I am advised with what to do :(
