welcome! MOST of the time that gasket can be resused....but if you accidentally tear it or it does leak, that's kind of a shame because you can't ride until you get one.

Hey guru. Know of any reputable online sources for used parts. I need an FCR for an 08 Kx250f and I’m leery of spending $250-$300 on something on eBay that’s gonna be worse than what I have. The hot start plunger looks like someone took a chisel to it on mine so it’s a bit recalcitrant to start when hot.

Hey Harry...not really, usually have to to ebay for that. I BELIEVE I may have a 2008 RMZ250 carb. I think they are virtually the same.

I looked it up and they are the same. If you do stumble across it and would like to sell it I’d be happy to purchase it cost permitting. I appreciate the quick response too.

i cannot object to using an impact gun for removal but you should really use the correct torque specs when installing the clutch cover, oil filter cover, and water pump housings.
