hello! is it possible that you will add a function to save recorded samples? I would like to be able to save a session with 4track and all the loops in it

Just picked up a copy! Love it so far. One thing though, when starting a new project and loading up Track4, is there a way to prevent it from taking up the whole screen on launch? it launches and fills up the screen and I have to manually resize every time I want to use a new instance of it. (macos)

I have a Norns + Grid 128, I love it, I love the scripts, & this is the closest plugin/M4L device that comes close to the loopers/sample manglers inside Norns, Would you say it’s possible to create a script like compass, rpls, barcode, & scripts like that into Max 4 Live devices? I’m highly considering learning max just to see If it’s possible to replicate such scripts into max form. From experience what do you think? Would you say it’s possible? The reason why i’m highly contemplating this is because I work inside the box mainly, and the norns and grid take up real estate on my desk also takes me away from getting actual music done, I get lost in the scripts 😅

I don't see why it wouldn't be possible. I have very little knowledge about the coding side of things, but I imagine it's doable. Would love to see what you come up with!

super inspiring. any word or update re the max loop length though? still dreaming of a longer sample length (i.e 30 seconds or similar). even 20 seconds would just be enough to almost always cover the length of slower ambient style chord sequence

Buffer length is one of the main things we're looking into for version 2.0.

Quick question, if I record incoming audio, and set the tape length to say 2 bars, it will keep recording over and over, and not respect the two bar length. Is this correct?

I'm not sure I understand the question. Is the issue with the recording exceeding the 2 bar length, or is the problem that the audio is recording over what you already recorded?

@@peterbarkmusic yes if I’ve set the length of a channel to two bars at the top, the device will continue to record audio over and over, past a two bar section. So if I play a clip or sample that is two bars, the tape will continue to record until I hit stop - which is never right on time. Maybe I’m doing something wrong, but is this process as intended?

@@claudecoup423 It will keep recording, but if you have overdub turned off it won't replace what is in the buffer. For instances where you want to be more precise, you're probably better off dropping the audio clip into the buffer as opposed to trying to live record it.
