Got a feeling it could be a Geelong v Collingwood GF next year or a meeting in a Prelim at least,..mouth wateri ng. Collingwood would have given a better effort than the Swans but I still reckon that the Cats would have won no matter who they were playing. They stepped up a gear on Saturday.

Every year for 10 years was heartbreak, such a huge buildup of emotions throughout that time and to finally break through and lift that cup after getting so close was just extra special. Love this club

Ah man, so happy for guys like Zach. Genuine class player, but there were a lot of supposed fans who were asking for him to be delisted - @BigFooty, you guys know who you are. Well done mate, you're a proper champion, and those losers who will be basking in your glory are the polar opposite.

There wouldn't be too many supporters who wanted him delisted but many of us doubted he could be a regular A.F.L.player, and I was one of those and we were wrong. You can see now that the club is giving players a chance and not throwing them onto the scrapheap. I hope this will apply to Sav Ratugolea, he is still young and worth the investment in time I reckon.

@@terrythekittieful thats right - they are happy to develop the young blokes and elevate them when they are right. I think Rata was set back a few years by that horrible leg break, and with the luxury of Hawkins and Cameron in the forward line they have been able to develop his defensive game too. Good at ground level, great leap and has pretty good hands, I reckon they will hold on to him.

It's fantastic. How good would it be for players like Sam DK who is 19?, a long career ahead of him. Geelong are going to have more success for a long time, won't always be premierships but more finals certainly and when Kardinia park is a fully built stadium, what a cauldron it's going to be.

The game plan is more than beatable! I'm a hawk well done cats but joel saying unbeatable sorry precision football beats all! Hawk's 13 14 15 precise ball use is truely unbeatable! It's the hardest gamestyle to replicate you need at least 6 high quality ball users but once it's set up it's unstoppable! All teams are bombing there forward entries to tall cats defense! You get precise ball use hitting targets to leading players out in front of them no defender can stop that! Sam is building a precise game plan we beat cats this year! Your not unbeatable! Just wait 2 years hawk's will be back and look out! You have 10 players over 30 so your time is almost up but all credit to cats they got the job done but hawk's 13 14 15 team would of eaten this team! Precision footy beats all! That's why we won 3 in a row! Well done cats well done!!

I don't have to bring that team here now they already proved what truely elite teams do! As I said well done cats but Joel saying there unbeatable I felt was a bit over the top! We beat you early in the season as elite ball use beats all! Unfortunately our team is young and inexperienced but they showed at times what's to come after a few more pre seasons! In my opinion elite ball use teams are unbeatable! Just my opinion! Your 7 9 11 team was way better than this team and you played swans with an old buddy and there other key forward injured and taken out of game! No forward line! Look who you played be honest! It was far from a power team ! Well done cats a top club no doubt!
