An actual good idea. I think he could really hit it off starting with smaller businesses (often neglected as a market entry point) in perhaps more rural areas where NPR systems aren't going to be around, he could literally have it completely done via mobiles phones (both customer and merchant via NFC/QRF). The only overhead then is servers and payment processing. His ideas for expansion is also very good, especially as public transport could transcend normal contracts (i.e. mixing bus, train, rented scooters/bikes, etc). There's a tonne of potential there, the other Dragons were very stupid to pass it up at that low price. I can see it easily in the multi-million turn over.

While Peter has a valid point about ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition), this doesn't mean that it's not a viable business. Actually, the ANPR would simplify matters: instead of having to install one of those little boxes at each parking space, the app could actually link up with each car park's ANPR system and do it that way. A LOT cheaper. So Peter's point makes it a positive, not a negative. I'm surprised this wasn't pointed out.
