Viewed the right way. Russell's videos are a great insight into how really good competitors approach a match. I learn a lot, so thank you sir for the free coaching.

Phagan's ability to hammer the spinner is just nuts. great match!
@Swarm5092 жыл бұрын
Others merely adopted the Spinner. Phagan was raised by the Spinner. Molded by it. He didn't see another target till he was already a man and they were nothing to him but basic shots.

Excellent commentary Those last two challenges advancing in the row of boxes had the potential to be real heartbreakers. It seems Russell has become more comfortable on camera. He has a tremendous amount to offer to the sport, and is obviously more than willing to do so. Thank you, Russell

Nice. In training, several decades ago (it's been over 30 years - YIKES), I actually had to clear a course that was almost identical to the Polish Plate Rack one you did here. Less sophisticated weapons in my view, but that's what we had in the era just prior to Gulf War One in the UK. I'm in my late 60's now, so my days of this stuff are gone now but I do enjoy watching these matches. Keep on going!!!
@frugalsoul99842 жыл бұрын
You can still do stuff. The physical part of this might be a stretch but it will motivate you to work out or work out more. And at least you have fun trying rt?

What Russell should've said: "If I can't crush the stage with iron-sights and a broken knee-pad well under the par time, then what chance would a mere mortal have other than failure and disappointment" 🤣👍 Great video, Russell is the best at pointing out usually unnoticed or unmentioned intentional moves and observations that add up to significant benefit for the audience's knowledge and comprehension of the match and helpful information for general shooting/moving techniques... 👍

"If I can't do it with irons, you probably can't". Sounds mildly boastful, actually just being open & honest about calibrating the stage. Good call on taking it easy with your knees - as someone who's only just recovered from limping around for 2 months you have to look after those things.

Great shooting, that spinner got smoked really hard. Imagine if Russel actually practiced before the match, that's crazy. Aulbach sir did some pretty good time on some stages. 20 sec at Kasarda drill, sheesh. Always nice to see new faces to the KZbin audience. Sweet stash ;) And nice to see top 10 gang. Great full match video from Russel, always a treat.

You don’t look particularly athletic, but clearly, looks can be deceiving. Outstanding performance, I could not have even come close to your performance. Those pistol shooting events where you have to start over we’re incredibly impressive with no room for mistakes.
