Today we check out the new DLC of the Contra collab Operation Guns in Vampire Survivors as Sheena and hit it off hard by hitting all-time highs. She starts with the weapon Blade Crossbow which evolves into BFC2000-AD (yes I'm not kidding), however the weapon has 2 interesting effects. The first one is that it has a divine intervention effect based on luck, or rather luck increases it's frequency, where a beam appears and she throws shurikens. But more interesting is what seems to be an extreme crit that has several multitudes. My theory is it's based on the enemy HP and less of a random range for crit, but so far I am uncertain.

Dex, I think the absolute bonkers damage numbers are coming from the Luck stat. Remember, the weapon states that it randomly gains divine intervention based on luck. Sounds to me like a hidden damage multiplier.

Seeing things like this makes me think they should switch the weapon effect layer to be *underneath* the enemies, items and character, and have it be obscured by the map areas like the walls and such. It would make it a lot easier to do this without just obscuring the whole map.

My guess: The big crits were coming from the light beam that is closer to the character. Because the blades got so large and killed everything so quickly, the enemies weren't able to get close enough to the beam to deal the big damage.

The blades spinning around the light beam deal the crazy damage, the lightbeam itself also deals some dmg.

I think the blades that spin around the divine intervention is the one that deals a lot of damage. It's just unable to do it very often because all the enemies usually die by other effects. Also I think the weapon shots are just stopping at the first thing they touch (excepting some walls i think), so that's the reason for the strange behavior where it focused on top you sometimes and didn't on others.

correct me if I'm wrong but I think you got a red gem at lvl 40 which has the growth bonus and sent you straight to lvl 70plus. cool stuff if that bonus is still a thing

Imagine if you've gotten the armadilo pick for the wings to get even more cast time reduction, which would have doubled your dmg output even further.

Yo I did both this one and mine launcher today and Mine launcher is even crazier with 36G or something. Guardians are slower yo kill with it though

It's italian, arma means weapon, dio is God, so it's weapon of God but the name is actually a pun. Arma dio -> Armadio which means wardrobe (that's why the icon in game is exactly that)
