I've been playing a summon/cast build on her. I have 3 dragons, Genie, 3 parrots, skele army all from equipment, then the 3 foxes and dragon from the skill tree. I also maxed out the cast on dash, then get Time's summon attack increase cast then dash your heart away.

The biggest and maybe only problem of Merris is seeing enemies/projectiles on screen with all the cast animations.

My build for Merris relies on Justice,Flame and Time. Justice has Light Rays, Light sigil, and quite a few good abilities. Flame has the Power/Cast strength up and a Legend Full Screen Nuke. Time has Warped Strike, the Pull and Gem High. Also Time Field.

Merris is GOATED. Personally I prefer going for many projs on equipment and Telekinesis to get a stupid modifier and then you go time with pull area. very fair and balanced when you sit at 40k pull area in base. (so about 400% cast damage)

Just use landslide and go for cast buf like size damage and every dash have 80% to trigger it and when you have 22 landfall from the unique weapon everything dies

I use a staff that has crescent moon ability that triggers on dash. The ability is affected by any cast upgrades (cast area, projectile, damage and etc.). And because of that ability, i use divine shield as 4th cast to keep my HP at max. For powers i used reprisal and/or purification to keep myself from getting hit and keep that inner peace xp up all the time.

I find it hilarious that you have 14-20 projectiles flying allover the place, But also can hit the same target To quote Astarion over Light Ray, "There is a difference between a nice sunny day, AND THE FULL CONCENTRATED POWER OF THE SUN!" ( all 20 Rays of Light hits 1 boss )

Levelled Retribution would allow you to stand in lazers with the help of Protection. Give it a chance.

It also helps with the Cursed. Acid cloud damages him pretty good.

What is in your opinion the best talent for Merris? Focus on shard pull and damage increase based on it, or the increase in projectiles with decrease in area?

Shes so OP you can basically do anything as long you have the dash on cash and landslide

I personally pick dash recharge for the last talent, but u can pick shard pull with time blessings.

there is an Imba talant on Merris (Left column) which gives you 80% more damage taken by enemies if you do not attacking (almost double all damage, becouse it is not increasing damage, but cause 80% more damage which mobs are receiving). And also another tallant for +dmg and -cd, this tallant increases global damage, not only cast dmg and even if you use it with casts it has great synergy with double/dash casts. P.s. there is some bug with 2nd talant and legendary blessing from Krom for 222% dmg, if you got both of them in focusing on casts you global damage bonus go to the skies (like 8000% in the end of the run)

Hello Daddy Dex :) i wanted to ask how should i start playing this again ? bcs i have old items that are not so good now bcs of tier 2 etc. so i am strugling to play on normal diff should i play and repeat until i got some good items? and what hero should i play in beggining ? bcs as everyone i played merris but now with those dog sh*t items she is unplayble (or i am just bad).

I dont understand how is CDR good in this build? CDR works when casts trigger by themselves, but you manually trigger them by dashing (% chance to force trigger them), which disregards the typical CDR of the casts. Am i missing something?

well the casts are still triggered on cd in addition to dashes. and when they trigger they have chance to be cast again thanks to the second bolt blessing he got early.

i Did a summoner only cast build whit cast on dash, instead of 8% summ damage a min it got like 30 to 50% it was insane. every 10 dashes it got 8% summ damage.

Wouldn’t say it was a horrible run, definitely think you should have been way more greedy with those 16 rerolls you wasted right off the bat instead of hard forcing looking for inner peace before minimizing the pool size of options.

Wait till you discover Kront dash build. You'll see 200k+ damage hits with the right gear. Attack damage and increase damage to untouched. He begins with around 10k dmg per dash from the very beginning.

I've been playing magic missile Merris with telekinesis. She's mfing Cracked. Hydra works too, but I like telekinesis.

and wtf with your cast dmg ?) why it is like 30% on the start ?) why you have this usless bracer for cast area and cast duration ?) Instead of 3 projectiles you got 16 on the 1st lvl, nearly 5 times more. So any 100% cast dmg will give you 500% in real... as example of usless cast area you can check 19:40 timing. I mean usless cast area on gear, because it has big value. Eclipse is perfect dont get me wrong. Amulet can give you 120% cast damage ane 20% global, bracer nealy 70% and ring.
