Probably a few people have complained about him driving it around on the streets, plus getting a warning from the police in this video, might have him getting close to getting into a fair bit of sh!t for continually taking it on the road. Given that there is not much else he can do with the kart (thats legal), and that it'll just be mostly taking up space, probably best to do a give away. He will get more for it with the give away, then trying to sell it. Don't get me wrong, its a bloody nice kart. Just not much you can do with it unless you have a large property to drive it around on.

I have ultralight electric scooter with tiny filled tires and the fastest I was able to do was 50kmh, and I also was around the edge of comfort. I would imagine it's even more sketchy on a skateboard. Amazing fun though.

Back during the Houston Sur Ron meet up, my buddy wiped out hard on his e-bike. He quickly got up just like your buddy in this video, but we got to a parking lot and as he's standing there checking out the road rash and feeling the pain in his foot, he begins to collapse. Weird delays in both cases here.

At least he had his helmet on, but didn't even have a scratch on it. I feel like his whole body took the impact and somehow his foot...maybe tried catching himself. He fell because he did not have a phone mount and was leading our group one handed watching phone GPS. This road had a huge gap in the center lane - enough space to have grass growing - like 3". His front tire went in it at probably 15mph.

As far as the passing out thing goes. There is a video online where they describe that the neck flap at the bottom of a full-face helmet allows for an excess of carbon dioxide to accumulate within the inside of the helmet. When people remove that neck flap it apparently allows for the carbon dioxide to flow out of the helmet more easily, and therefore reducing the likely hood of syncope.

Your buddy had a vasovagal syncope. When you crash and if its a big one, you get a ton of adrenaline dumped into your system. Then when the adrenaline hit comes off which can be 5 minutes or 20 minutes or more, you better be sitting down... Once it passes, you are good as new, you actually feel really great (minus the broken bones and stuff).

I fell from an electric scooter. In Belgium there is a brand called dott(it’s the same as a lime or bird). The issue is that you don’t have a helmet when you unlock a scooter on the sidewalk. I was riding it and all of a sudden I blacked out. And my friend behind didn’t notice it before I started swerving left to right after around 100 meters and hit a car parked on the side. The only thing I remember is getting up from the ground with blood dripping out of my mouth. My two teeth in the middle came fully out and a few of my teeth below were broken. Luckily there was a cop nearby and a guy passing that told him to radio in an ambulance. I spent the next 10 hours in the ER. Got 5 stitches around my mouth. They took scans of my whole body. They also researched my blood but there wasn’t a sign of anything that could have caused it. Very grateful to have healed from it, now that it has been 5 months. Anyone who is considering going on anything with electric power, make sure you have a good helmet just in case the unexpected happens. I was lucky to survive. Learn from my mistake and always have the safety equipment. Stay safe ❤️

Eat more foods with Iron and B12 in them, or maybe take a supplement of one or both. Sounds like how I used to pass out on long stretches of road after zipping around in town for hours. I went and got my blood tested and found out I was Iron and vitamin B12 deficient. Since then I've been taking an iron supplement in the morning, and some B12 in the afternoon every day. No more passing out half way through the day. Also helps with that blackout feeling you get from standing up too quick sometimes. Hope this helps.

If the cop looks at your e-whatever and just says "this is not legal" then 99% they have no idea and test you this way to see what you will say. It's impossible for them to know all stock vehicles, and then they have no idea of knowing if it's stock or not. You maybe got surron and downgraded it to make it street legal by reprogramming the controller to not use over xxxxW and not go over xx/mph.

I only ever passed out once in my life and it happened when I was on a electric scooter. When I woke I was still standing on the scooter but my elbow was snapped I collapsed over the handle bars and one arm wrapped over the break and my other arm hit the handle bar and snapped. Still ride the scooter to this day.

I'm in the process of stripping everything electrical from my Jetson Pro Model & putting it into a modified Hyper Drift Gokart for kids. I since adjusted the size so I can fit and will swap the back plastic wheels with my Electric Jetson bike . The front wheels the Gokart came with I might keep since they are rubber..
